I really wanna talk about something I guess I was just lightening the mood with those videos. I have been playing Sea of Thieves, (great game check it out) but about 98% of the players are men. Which is fine but being the only female in the party gets really annoying when people make inappropriate comments. I'm no prude, in fact, I'm usually the one making conversation and laughing at jokes that are on the crude side. I just wanted to let everyone know sexual harassment comes in many different forms, I've had no problem with 80% of the guys I play with and have made some really good friends.

It's just the few who decide to make gross comments towards me for fun. I was playing with this one guy and I had known him for about a week or two at the time and we had played the game together occasionally. He was really nice and knew I was 15 and made sure to be careful what he said, Ya know just being a decent human being. Once I asked if he had a spot open on the Galleon he was on (four-person ship) and he said yes so I joined. Immediately as soon as I join the party this guy makes some joke about me being Primals girlfriend (my buddies name) just because I'm a girl. I just laughed it off and thought it was quite funny. Little bit on context this story takes place the day after a big update was adding to the game and one of the major aspects was fire. You were now able to throw firebombs and light others ships on fire. I was really excited about trying out the new mechanic because I have been waiting for the update for some time. Anyway, we are all just having a conversation while playing the game and I find a fireball so I told the party and I made a joke like "I wanna go sneak on a boat them just smash a firebomb in there face and tell fire at the top of my lungs at them!" I was just trying to be funny and that same guy who made the girlfriend joke laughed and said "This girl wants to kill people and she hasn't even lost her virginity yet" TF? Okay, that's not okay to say, especially to a 15-year-old!

Like dude, come on. He made a few more nasty jokes and when he left everyone apologized for him and Primal said he told him to cool it with the dirty jokes when I join to be polite because of my age and stuff. So Primal went out of his way to warn this guy and be nice to me and this ass-hat decided to just be an asshole to me for no reason. I actually stopped playing the game for a while because I couldn't find any other girls to play with and I was getting annoyed with all the stupid comments.

"Does you're boyfriend play video games too?"

"You're pretty good for a girl" 

I'm not a feminist or anything and I don't mind when guys use the little names like Darling or sweetheart but don't use something like "Babe" or "Sexy" just something gross in general. I've actually had a guy refer to me as the word sexy. Like that was my name, 🙄

A ton of guys I met have been more than kind and actually played the game with me instead of offering to do everything for me? Like I'm playing to game to play it not have someone do it for me but whatever. But yeah, I've met some really cool and nice people and play with them on a regular but. What I'm trying to say is learn that some stuff quickly makes and conversation awkward and Is just not appropriate. I don't know if those comments and what that guy said would be labeled as sexual harassment or not but It made me feel really uncomfortable and wanted to give up on playing a game I love because of it.                                                                                                                                                        

Sorry about the depressing chapter I just wanted to get the word of how not to be an asshole to girls because your horny message out there. Also! Girls are humans, not walking boobs or you're fuck toy, treat us like humans, thank you. 80% of men I have met and been sweet and just didn't make gross comments towards me but then there has to be that 20% that just has to screw with everything and make me feel uncomfortable. Why do I feel like a feminist right now? 😬
