Backstory: Robert is the son of two wealthy parents. He goes to a prep school in Dallas Texas. Right when he entered high school, he got into sports. In his sophomore year, he became part of the football team and soon became its star player. Two weeks after Mei arrived in Dallas, he worked up the courage to talk to her. He began to flirt with her after that, he asked her out. After being diagnosed with cancer, he devoted the rest of his life to making Mei smile and studying literature because he knew that was one of the things Mei loved to do.
