A/N: So I managed to find out what the if finally stands for and a new detail that was teased.

The "IF" in Kill la Kill the Game: IF is meant to represent an "alternate thread", meaning that the game will present a "whole new perspective" for fans of the anime. It will feature a completely original story that will act like "another episode" of the show.  

Satsuki is the protagonist in IF, giving players a chance to see a side of her that wasn't shown in the 2013 anime. She will even get her very own final form known as Junketsu Shinzui. Despite the differing protagonist, IF will take place in the same realm as the anime.  

Then they leave us with this little teaser.
