A/N: a ranking of each of the shows based on my opinion, how I saw them, what worked for me and what didn't. 

Just to go over the rules, I'll be leaving things out such as the super dragon ball heroes anime since A. It's a promotional anime and not a full length 20 minute episode series like the others and is mainly used to promote the arcade game. Plus, even if I wanted to add it. I would rather wait until the series is done.

I'll be deviving this into parts since the stuff I have here is rather long.

4. Dragon Ball GT.

Yeah, yeah, no surprise for me here. But yeah, I'm not every fond of GT. I think it was an okay series to be honest with anyone. Not the worse thing ever (evolution). It's sort of a Sonic 06 to the series (though less worse) in the sense that like sonic 06, it had the potential to be something great and exciting. But, it suffered from some problems.

Pros: 

1. The show was well paced (In some regard). a few good amount of episodes here and there like the super 17 arc (even though 17 wasn't that great of a villain in that). 

2. The designs of the characters in the series were rather interesting to say the least. 

3. It had some rather interesting settings on each of the different planets during the black star dragon balls and baby vegeta arc. They felt unique in their own way and revealing new species. 

4. He Japanese Soundtrack. Well, some of it anyway, there were some parts of the gt soundtrack that were really good for the most part. Like the intro for example. 

5. Baby. Out of all the villains in the show, was a very intimidating villain and really left a lasting impression in GT from what he did. He was to GT, what frieza was to Z and he was sort of a tragic character (to an extent). 

6. The attacks used by the majority of characters were really cool and interesting, like baby's revenge death ball to the negative power ball. 

7. It had some good animation is some of the shows moments, from the intro to some of the scenes in the first arc to the very last moment of GT Itself. 

8. Super Saiayn 4 was a really new and interesting design and transformation welcomed to the series. It was a good mix of a saiyan's usual look with the features of an oozaru. 

9. The goku jr special was alright for the most part. Kinda a hit and miss. 

10. The ending of GT. With the ending theme of gt playing out, it shows goku walking as scenes from the past series play out to how us how far the series had come and would mark the end of dragon ball until a few years later.

Now for the cons. And trust me, it's got a lot fo them.

Cons: 

1.While the first arc had good settings, to me it felt as if it was just blatantly trying to replicate the first hunt for the dragon balls from the original dragon ball. The arc tries to be silly, yet it's giving you the reminder that the earth will be destroyed if they don't find them all, sort of taking away from that comedy. 

2. The Para Para Brothers.... really didn't need them. Completely waist of space of characters. I'll give them this though, their dance move is kinda good when used in the xenoverse games.

3. Piccolo was completely absent for the majority of gt and then killed off. No build up, no proper respect to the character, just there and then gone. Which brings up my next issue.

4. They either changed the old characters or bearly had them do anything or be shown much through out the series. I'll bring up goku in the next one. Gohan and goten looked nearly identically the same in most moments of gt. Trunks got undermined a lot in the series from dressing in drag to nearly getting his ass kicked effortlessly in every single battle. They made roshi look like a hippie and less like him for some reason. Vegeta's design in the series was one of the worst in my opinion, his hair was too short and the mustache was just not fitting. Cell and Frieza were kinda off as well.

5. Waisting the potentiol of Pan and Bulla. These two were really undermined a lot. Pan was usually treated as a damsel in distress or just someone who whined a lot. She was a fighter, yeah, but the majority of the enemies she fought nearly battered her around for the most part. Bulla was just written as this sort of typical cute teen girl that was interested in stuff like going shopping and rarely did anything. They could have been so much more, but they were wasted and were basically side characters.

6. While I liked some of the music in the soundtrack, the majority of it didn't really work with me and it just really sounded vastly out of place for the show. It just didn't work well.

7. Making goku a kid again. After all the battles that goku had went through while growing, having him turn into a kid again just felt like it was trying to bring back the feeling original dragon ball. But, it just felt like it was unneeded and didn't really serve much of a purpose. 

8. Goku is given way too much attention in the series. No seriously, it's almost with every single moment, that goku has to be the only person to get the attention in the show. In the fights, in the scenes where the characters travel, when they're just talking. It's like they couldn't just focus on another character other than him for once.  

9. The Majority of the fights within GT felt boring, slow, dragged out and the characters in it felt like as if their punches weren't really all that much and they looked like they moved a little slow. It didn't really give much of a feel in the most of them either, The baby vegeta and omega shenron fights seemed to be the most exceptions. 

10. Baby's backstory is sort of similar to Hathiyack in the sense that they were tuffles created to destroy the saiyans. It's a small one so I can't complain too much about this one. 

11. golden oozaru was sort of short lived. It wasn't really used all that much or seen that much after baby became one. not all of the soundtrack felt like it was there for me. Some moments of the soundtrack just felt off or very out of place. 

12. Super Saiyan 4 didn't feel all that much like a super saiyan transformation. It felt more like a regular saiyan form with a mix of the oozaru features. Had it been given a different type of transformation, I would excuse it from that. Not to mention that Vegeta didn't even train or go through any of the same stuff goku went through to achieve it. He was just hit with waves, and that's it.

13. Story concepts that were not executed to their fullest potential. They have a good idea to them, but they sort of don't exploit it enough or something just happens that then shoots the idea in the foot.

14. Plot holes and continuity errors. This show suffers from a lot of plot holes and continuity errors in some moments in the show that have not been answered or was even bothered to have been fixed. Like for instance, when hell breaks loose and you can see villains like cooler unleashed, it sort makes you scratch your head. In my opinion, it has WAY more than even super had.

15. The majority of villains were uninteresting and not very threatening. With the Exception of Baby, the vast majority of villains in gt were very uninteresting or just not very threatening at all. The majority of the shadow dragons felt like these bland, unoriginal characters who were just there for goku to fuck around with until he got to syn shenron. The only exception being the two brothers, nuova and eis shenron. But it wasn't explored that much.

16. Not all the desgins were great. Case in point, the shadow dragons, they seemed more like ripoffs of king piccolo's children rather than creatures that could actually look like dragons as their names suggest. They either look like a different animal or some sort of humanoid demon.

17. It kinda ripped off a lot of stuff from the original dragon ball. Like the first hunt for the dragon balls, the shadow dragons like like ripoffs of king piccolo's children, and goku punches a hole through super 17, similar to what he did to king piccolo. And the list goes on and on and on.

(I'm not adding it being non canon since that doesn't really go against it. I mean, the films were and most of those are loved).
