Undeath, Blood and Beasts, and Lone Flame
This is a little collection of ideas that generally take place in the same setting in different ages.
Undeath
Long ago, the horrid entities of the undead were held back by the Goddess of Life. Knowing that even she will face death soon, as death is an inevitable part of life, she gives birth to one hundred children. The Children of Life. They kept their mothers legacy, spreading across the lands as to keep the undead and demonic forces at bay. However, one such king, a human man, had grown a taste for life. Making a deal with a demon, one that reeked of the undead, he gathered the Children of Life to his kingdom in a celebration of their alliance. Once alone in the dining hall, he took a monstrous form, the icon of gluttony, and devoured all but one of the children. After witnessing the death of his brothers and sisters, the last child hid away, allowing the undead to begin their slow corruption of the lands, claiming them as their own. To combat this threat, the Last of Life made a deal with Death himself and allied with the rebelling kingdom against the Gluttonous King, the Kingdom of the Silver Crescent. With his powerful warriors, the Reapers, and the warriors of Queen Fizza, their war waged on.
Still, the forces of the undead were too numerous and powerful, so Death took it upon himself to create his own warrior. A warrior destined to be the leader of the Reapers, one who would claim the power of Death himself. Chosen with the broken black blade, this young man will be the champion of the Reapers...and will be known....as He Who Wields Death.
Blood and Beasts
Set a few centuries after the conflict between life and the undead, the humans of the world were still ruled over by the lineage of Life. A powerful demigod reigned over them, but due to the final, critical move of his ancestor, the Horrors of Life were spread around the lands. Disease, monsters, and peculiar hybrids had cropped up, forming their own kingdoms. One such hated group were the Beastmen, humanoid beast creatures who attacked humans with such hatred and vigor. They were deemed a priority target by humans. At the same time, magic was beginning to expand, one of the biggest being the use of elemental magic. Even this fell to difficulty with cursed magic being mixed in, being on the same illegal status as necromancy.
From the beastmen, a child was born. Half human and half beast, his mother was killed once the villagers found out her sinful matrimony. Before he was killed, he was taken by his grandfather, both on the run from the hateful mobs. From his grandfather, once a respected knight, the child would learn chivalry and loyalty. Despite his appearance and nature, he promised he would grow to become a respected warrior.
From the humans, a dark blood cult was destroyed. However, one woman managed to sneak away and give birth to her child, a child born with an affinity for blood magic. His mother too was killed, leaving him alone to fend for himself on the streets of the kingdom he lived in. From his experiences, hate built up inside of him, promising he would rule over the kingdoms himself.
As fate would have it, these two would meet, forming a bond of friendship...and tragedy...
Lone Flame
Set a few centuries after the previous story, elemental magic has become the new normal, with the main kingdoms being of water, wind, earth, and lightning. However, fire elemental magic has been outlawed due to an event known as the Black Flame Revolt. The fire kingdom, led by the infamous Black Flame King, waged war against the other kingdoms, but fell in a crucial battle. The remnants of the fire kingdom fled the lands, leaving no fire users left in the mainland. Fate has a tricky hand however, as a children raised by water elemental parents, would discover he has the affinity for using flame magic. Wanting to become a great warrior, he enrolls in the warrior academy, but has found himself to be a target for hate due to his people's war. Despite this, he faces these challenges head on, forming friends and enemies, all in his goal to prove he will become a great warrior for himself.
However, as time goes on, he discovers more and more about himself, and his now gone people. Dark secrets that even the kingdoms hid due to fear and shame. When his whole world is changed from what truly happened to his people, as well as his true lineage, his path now teeters on the edge of heroism and villainy.
