Top 5 Favorite Analog/ARG Series

5. Local58

How can I not add the one that started the entire internet craze of analog horror? This bad boy essentially is the reason we got so much good ARG/Analog stories. Made by the creator of Candle Cove, Local58 is short but holds a strange world where the paranormal is shown through a cable news network. From monsters, to government contingency plans, to the moon itself being an eldritch entity, it's a hell of a ride and I'm not even sure if it's over.

4. NeedleMouse

I know you've probably heard this before, but this is Sonic.EXE done right. Corrupting the blue hedgehog and telling a story of twisted revenge, the characters and tale are the strongest attributes of this series. It's still scary as fuck though and NeedleMouse is one of the most eerie out of the many, many Sonic.EXE variants. Only really being beaten by like EYX.

3. Mandela Catalogue

Possibly the most well known Analog/ARG series currently, the Mandela Catalogue definitely deserves its respect and recognition. Set in an different reality where Satan himself imprisons Jesus, the modern day is plagued by creatures known as Alternates who steal the populaces bodies. It's god damn disturbing since it tackles extremely sensitive subject matter like suicide and weave it into its horror element. Currently the series is still going, so here's hoping for more scares!

2. Gemini Home Entertainment

Gemini Home Entertainment just may be the scariest out of them all. Creatures known as Woodcrawlers take the form of humans, entire hives and caverns have been crafted by them, all for the arrival of a literal planet sized organism known as the Iris. It makes you dread with how unprepared and how outmatched humanity truly is against this alien threat. The true terror that comes from Gemini is the fear of inevitability, for we do not known when or why the Iris is coming.

1. Monument Mythos

Believe me when I saw that all of these series are made by hardworking people, but this to me takes the cake with the sheer dedication it has. Taking American history and presenting alternate timelines, with the mysterious Special Trees and what strange creatures it brings to the world, encased by the various monuments around North America. It's scary, it's heartbreaking, hell it can even be a little bit funny! I truly believe this is the best series and is by far, the most underrated of them all.

Honorable mentions

Fnaf VHS Tapes

While I do enjoy the Fnaf series, the VHS tapes is able to shine a light on a more personal side of the story. We get to see how the spirits of the children react to their situation, Michael Aftons struggles with learning the truth, and just how much of a disgusting human being William Afton truly is.

Walten Files

Currently I am not done with this series yet, but it has definitely peaked my interest. Inspired by Fnaf, Walten Files tells the tale of the Walten family and the ominous animatronics the father created. It's well known for its disturbing content and honest to god horrific deaths and imagery. I would be caught up but....

Uh....

why is it an hour long-
