Be honest, we all wanted Muriel to be our grandmother. Woman is nice to literally everyone, even monsters that are trying to eat her. Only times I can really think of her being rude was baby Muriel, which you can't really blame her for being a baby, and that one time Muriel kept bonking Eustace for scaring Courage.
