Okay, so I think there should not be another Danganronpa game. Here me out. Danganronpa V3 literally says "We are going to end Danganronpa." It talked about the production of a video game and what a video game and anime series could turn into after too many sequels. It's just doing it to appease the audience and gives the audience control like in Danganronpa described.

Honestly, that being said though, if the creator and director TRULY WANTS to do another Danganronpa game, then I'm all in for another addition.

Then again, if Danganronpa has a different person directing Danganronpa 4, I'm not going to play it.

Honestly, I wonder what the theme of Danganronpa 4 would be. Danganronpa's 1 theme was hope and despair, obviously. DR 2 was about hope of the future. And DRV3 was about lies.

DR1 characters each had a hope and history growing up and evolving.

Kirigiri had a hope to see her father again.
Chihiro had a hope to become more brave and face his problems.
Makoto had hope to enjoy his time at his academy (we all saw how that worked).
Toko had hope of loving Togami or a prince.
Celeste had hope of living in a mansion.
Hifumi and Isimaru had hopes of making friends that accepted them.
Leon and Sayakya both had hopes of being rocks stars.
Sakura had hopes of being known for the strongest person in the world to prove that women can be just as strong, if not stronger.
Asahina wanted to be an Olympic swimmer.
Yasuhiro had hopes he wouldn't be homeless and get an education at Hopes Peak.
Togami had hope of becoming the family's financial heir and not being kicked out of the family.
Mondo had hope he could keep the gang together to keep is promise to his brother. I think that's everyone. Except the Ultimate despairs.

Then DR2 had characters that alined too. Either having hope for the future or having darker pasts, or a limited time span. And they have to mange their time and futures equally.

Hajime had hope he could be more than an Ultimate in the future, which is why he accepted to be the Ultimate Hope or Izuru.
Hiyoko was bullied for a while and had hope to get less bullies at her new school
Akane had to deal with being raped and a larger less wealthy family and has hope to make enough money to help her family and get more food.
Ishida has a disease and he'll only live until age 21.
Same for Nagito, he will only live 2 more years of his life after DR2.
Teruteru has to hurry to make it home and bring back money so his mom will live longer.
Twogami does not even remember his past.
Mahiru is already planning for the future to find a man or husband that won't "just be a bum all the time".
Mikan got bullied in her past.
Ibuki has a good time until her band left her because of "artist differences". And she has to work her music career up from scratch.
Sonia has no friends and has the future at Hopes Peak to make them
Kazuichi has to continue the family business throughout his life and future
Fuyuhiko has grown up as a yakuza and had no real social practice besides Peko
Peko has grown with Fuyuhiko and despite having the choice of a different future, she chooses the her future with Fuyuhiko.

And DRV3 characters tended to either lie to others or themselves, or one lie affected THIER inter life.

Kaito lied to do the entrance exam to be the Ultimate Astronaut.
I don't need to explain Kokichi Ultimate Liar.
Korekiyo, after being abused for so long, has lied to himself that he indeed loves his sister to the point of murder.
Shuichi, after telling the truth and solving a past murder, made him regret telling the truth in general.
Kiibo couldn't even tell the truth about himself, him being a camera for the audience and not a free willed robot.
Kaede lied to herself and others that she didn't kill Rantaro the internet time.
Rantaro hid secrets the inter time.
Gonta was lied to by Kokichi and it ended up killing him.
Tenko was lied to a lot or told about boys being "degenerates" and the as gullible enough to believe it.
Himiko lies to herself and others about her magic.
Maki lied to the others about her Ultimate talent.
Angie lies to others about Atua's ways because on her island, the only way she would be listened to is if she was considered a being of God.
Kurimi lied to the others because of her reasonabilities as Prime Minister.
Ryoma also never ran to the others to tell them about Maki or Kurimi because it benefited him or them.
And Mui lied to others about the virtual world.
Oh, and Tsumugi and the audience lie to themselves thinking seeing a fake reality TV show with satisfy their boredom and problems. I honestly think Tsumugi was written so perfectly well. I mean, she wasn't written well as a good character, but as a good mastermind she was pretty cool. Though I knew it was Tsumugi because she was the only character with no character development at the end of DRV3.

All had an overall theme. And I honestly think DRV3 pulled it off perfectly well in that regard.

Anyways, if DR4 came out, what would be the theme? Idk. I think that's up to the creators.

Though, I think that's why fan series of DR forget to do. Have a good theme.

Also, if they make a DRV3, here's how case 3 should go. Two killers kill two different people around night time or the same time frame. Keep the rule that I'd two people killed two different people, then only the person who killed first is the blackened. Then the mystery of the trial is who killed the victim first. Even after they figure out both of the murderers, the mystery of who killed first or who's the blackened stays lingering. Even better, after case 3 is over and only one of the killers gets executed, the others are suspicious as hell of the other person who killed. Like, if Mui killed Angie, then Korekiyo killed Tenko, Mui would be executed and everyone would be uneasy around Korekiyo.

Anyways, of course there's rumors of DR4. But whatever.

Honestly, if they make a DR4, here's what I mostly hope. As much as I like Fuyuhiko and Kokichi's voice actors, he's sexuality assaulted some of the cast from what I remember. Maybe it was just a rumor, bit if it IS true, I want them to fire him and re-hire those voice actors if they ever make another appearance like with Tsumugi or something.

It would also question if it was Ultimate fiction like in DRV3, or in the regular DR universe.

Also, please no more Ultra Despair Girls. I liked the story and all, but I think the other DR game set up I guess. Also, chapter 3 of that game was so triggering idk. I know it was to explain story but I hated that chapter. I love Kotoko especially for her backstory, but like, no.
