My parents are looking into putting me into a mental facility.

My mom contacted a friend who's son actually got into the facility. The son yelled from the other room, hearing his mom on the phone, "IT'S GREAT! EVERYONE SHOULD GO THERE!"

... Still nervous. More nervous with COVID and school work...

I might get a roommate too...

It's not an insane asylum btw. Asylums fundings were cut in the 70s and shut down. This is told to be more like a summer camp.

... I would be there for 6 weeks... Possibly without Wattpad...

It hasn't been decided if this will happen or when, but my parents are really looking into it. Update you then.

This will be good for me I think. As long as it's not a mental hospital.

Mental hospitals are for people of self harm or were going to commit s*icide. Those hospitals do more harm than good, and make more people s*icidal than anything. DO NOT GO THERE IF YOU ARE SEEKING MENTAL HELP UNLESS YOU GET A COUNSELOR OR SUPPORT AFTERWARDS. Those places to do focus on helping your mental state, but keeping you alive in their hospital, and will do anything to make sure of it.

"You do not get anything, even pencils. Pencils can be used for s*lf h*rm."

"You have to eat almost all your food, ever if you don't like it. If the staff didn't see you finish most of your food, they will think you are starving yourself and will attach you to a machine that will force feed you."

"You can write letters to your parents or talk to them at the facility. No entertainment and almost no phone calls. If you make phone calls or write, staff watch you. And the pencil quickly get taken away."

Yeah, it's bad. If you seek professional help, this is not how you will get it. It is awful
