After being abandoned by his family at age 8, he was taken care of by a nearby orphanage. Became only friends with the outcasts and became bullied constantly. He and his 9 other friends eventually struck back and created a prank war with the bullies.

Kokichi stopped the bullies from bothering people, but he didn't stop there. He and his friends became a member of DICE, what he describes as an evil secret organization. The members decided since it was Kokichi's idea to prank the bullies, that he got to be the leader. The inter school didn't know to believe in Kokichi's lies. But anytime students bother Kokichi or any members who claimed to be part of DICE got bullied, teased, or even talked about them, they're student life and social status would be destroyed.

Eventually, Kokichi graduates highschool, and his friends were all going to different colleges. He found himself feeling abandoned like his parents did to them. He was wondering what his identity is.

But all he knew was that he was most happy as the Ultimate Supreme Leader. So he believes the only way to BE happy is to find a home of his own, and truly rule over it.
