A/N: a theory that I have in mind for a while.

After taking a good look at the kirby: star allies trailers and doing some good searches, I believe that we might be seeing the long time return of an old kirby villain. The villain I'm referring to would the the forces of dark matter.

(Dark crafter isn't technically confirmed as dark matter. But he's similar to them though).

Now this just a theory. For all we know, it could be another villian. But we won't know until next week. But for now, this'll be based on theory.

So from what we know from dark matter is that they had not been active in years ever since their leader, zero 2, was destroyed by kirby. And the only other time that a force of dark matter appeared was in Kirby: squeak squad in the form of dark nebula.

(Dark mind and dark crafter are still unknown).

And some people believe that since zero and zero 2 were dead, there was no more dark matter. But I don't think that's the case. Mainly that just because they destroyed zero, doesn't mean the whole source was destroyed. Maybe a portion of it. But not all of it. Some remaining forces of dark matter might have survived ans retreated.

Some people may think that dark matter is no longer a threat now that zero is gone. But that is far from it. Zero and zero 2 were two different beings. So who's to say that there isn't another zero. Or in other words: Zero 3.

It could be possible that the forces of dark matter have been regrowing even larger than even before with the help of the third zero while at the same time, the new zero was becoming stronger over time. Even stronger than zero 2. And it had eventually took some time before they were ready to attack again which could be where Kirby: Star Allies comes in.

From what I've seen in the trailers for kirby: star allies, characters like whispy woods and king dedede seem to be possessed as they all had an strange glowing aura around their bodies. Similar to that of dark matter. Then we see how their bodies are affected. In the trailer, dedede went into a buff state. Something he had never done before and he could've done it alone. I think that like before, dark matter morphed dedede's body a little as a better means to try and beat kirby. Just like back in Kirby's dream land 3.

If dark matter is in the game, I think that this could either be the true last time we see dark matter or the first of a few more appearances. It I'll all depended when the game comes out.

But that's enough theory from me. Sometime later, maybe after i get back from my cousins':

I'll do a theory on the difference between universe 6 and 7 as well as the saiyans of both universe to try and put some things to rest.
