I need your opinion on this. My book BONES has a bunch of characters I want to make main characters (meaning they will have at least one or two chapters of their point of view.)
I have Jay, the 16 year old half-demon with a being in his head and a curse on his body. (Savanna cat)
I have Carmen, the 14 year old half-angel orphan with a wing deformity. (Persian cat)
I have Rusty/#######, the 26 year old mortal with amnesia. (Maned wolf)
I have Vex, the 15 year old lost Nichromydis who hasn't lost his childish nature. (Nichromydis)
I have Holly, the 16 year old mortal thief who has a rivalry with Jay. (Savanna cat)
I have Spade, the extremely old half-fallen who has the body of a 16 year old, but the mind of an old vengeful creature. Has insanity. (Savanna cat)
I have King Ashervil, the demon king who wants to strike Jay down. (Demon)

Is this too many main characters? We have three main villains and four main heroes.
