Personality:
Well for starters, May is very smart, and a fantastic hacker. She discovered her talent for hacking at 7 years old when she hacked into a speaker to turn off the annoying music someone had been playing on repeat for an hour.

Despite her strange, natural talent, she's not an antisocial as you might expect, she's actually quite a people person. She considers her 'popular' in her own way, as she's very sociable and rather charming when necessary.
She's also typically quite relaxed and fun, completely fine with spending the day on the sofa in front of the T.V.

This often changes when they go on missions though, as shell often lose her calm demeanour and instead become dead serious, focused and determined. She's not one for cracking jokes when on the job, and can also become somewhat... intimidating.

She has a detectives mindset, she's observant, intelligent and watches too much Sherlock. She enjoys making deductions, and often does so as a hobby in her spare time. Luckily, due to the rising amount of information found on an individual's social media, and how easy they've become to hack, deductions are often not necessary. She's able to find information that is definite rather than simple assumptions.

Another strong personality trait of May is her loyalty. She will protect her friends at any cost, even if violence is necessary, despite apparently coming off as 'sunshine, smiles, and rainbows' most of the time. There is not a single time in which one should risk the consequences that come when even remotely harming someone that May cares about.

Likes:
Computers, her phone, anything technology based really. She likes having time alone to think, and focus, but equally likes spending time with the people around her. She is a "people person" so to speak, and has a certain love for conversations and talking to new people. She likes to observe, learning new things about people, even the smallest things.

Dislikes:
She doesn't like feeling disconnected, even on a mission, she'll have some kind of technology on her somewhere. She also hates the idea of being lost, and alone, she hates spending too much time without social an interaction and it often puts her in a bad mood. She hates being interrupted, and she hates being looked down on, and especially hates being treated like a child.
She isn't good with vegetables, and hates basically everything except sweet corn, so good luck trying to get her to eat her greens. She is definitely a child at heart.

Strengths:
May is an exceptional fighter, she's trained for the majority of her life and has a large amount of practice. She's mainly focused of hand to hand combat, but she has a certain love for easily concealed weapons, such as small knives and pistols that she can hide in a bag. 

Another strength is her quick thinking, she has a detective mindset, and due to her strong observation skills, is not usually very confused. Not only that, but she does her research before a mission, she likes to feel prepared, and it usually works in her favour.

Not only this, but May is quite... techie to put it simply. She's good with technology and rather difficult to keep out. Any documents, she'll usually be able to hack, and satellites are her best friend. She likes to know what's going on, and her technology helps her accomplish that.

Weaknesses:

One of May's strongest weaknesses is the obvious. She has no superpowers. Although there are theoretically many ways around this, and she's a strong believer that you can be a hero without said 'powers'. It will always be a disadvantage, especially if you're going into battle with somebody that spits venom, another that has superspeed, a shapeshifter, and an illusionist, especially when all you have is a knife.

Another big weakness is her protectiveness, so to speak. She's a sucker for hostages. Is ever her friends or family are threatened, she caves. It's just how it it. She can't risk somebody she cares about getting hurt, even if the negative consequences seem to outweigh the cost of what she'd saved. She'll chose her friends. Every time.

There is one more thing that she has a problem with. A big problem. She doesn't no when to stop.
Even the nicest people have a line, and when you cross May's line, it's a big mistake. When she's angry, she loses all sense of mercy, and empathy, and guilt. She will carefully plan every move to bring the victim the most painful end. And there's not much that could stop her.

Backstory:

May's father is Detective, and when she was born, she already had an older brother figure (Nighttime), so she knew what it was like to have a sibling.
She was always especially close to her mother, having always spent majority of her time with her, and aspired to be exactly the way her mother was, even going as far as to dress like her.
However, her mother died when May was very young, and she can't help but feel that nothing has quite been the same since.
The day that her mother died, something changed within their family unit, in particular, it pushed May to be closer to her father. She took more interest in his work.
Soon, she realised she was a lot more like her father than she'd noticed, even as far as observation skills. Her mother's death, although tragic, brought them closer as a family, and May will always value that.

Family:
May grew up with: Nighttime, Detective, Tweet and Chirp. She's aware of all of their identities and looked up to some as parent figures, and others as siblings.

Other:
She wears a lot of converse and sometimes combat boots.
She likes to die her hair a lot.
She often has trouble falling asleep.
