A/N: this page is on both my thoughts as well as a theory I have in regards to Meggy's new design that she had gotten by the very end of the Anime Arc where she seems more human.

To start off, I think it's a rather interesting design. It captures a few aspects of her original inkling one while still having some rather new features to her.

Now for the Theory part. This is is my own personal theory on how Meggy had become human. I believe that francis' machine, when Axol used it to it's unknown percent of power, not only drained Meggy of all her ink, but all of her squid DNA. And before anyone says something, I'm aware that it goes against how Inklings have evolved.

But, I believe that once Inking's reached the Humanoid point of their evolution, they gained more humanoid DNA to go with the squid DNA in their body. So when Meggy was being drained of her ink from the machine, her Squid DNA may have been drained with it, making her far more human than squid. This I believe caused her body to change it genetic makeup to fit the Human DNA that was in her body now that the squid DNA was gone.

And finally, why I think it's important. To put it clearly, I think it's Important for a specific reason. The Splatfest. The current Splatfest was coming up, but, meggy was nowhere around, to which mario and the others had to look all over for her. With that all done and her found, there's now the splatfest for her to win for her and desti. The problem is that now that she's been extracted of her Ink and squid DNA, she can no longer produce ink or become a squid to help her out in the splatfest. While she's known to be evasive and very fast with her reflexes, part of that had to do with her ink and squid transformations to get her out of certain situations. In the upcoming splatfest, she could find herself having trouble during it and may need some sort of help in order to either find a way to regain some of her squid DNA or try to beat splatfest without the usage of any.

But, that's all just me. Luke and Kevin do usually do the unexpected in their videos sometimes. So anything could happen next.
