Now, I know what some of you are wondering, who the hell is Star Convoy? 

Well, Star Convoy is Convoy (the name optimus was dubbed in japan) is Convoy revived from Sky Garry then restored him to life by placing the Zodiac in his chest. 

The power of the Zodiac turned Convoy into the even more powerful Star Convoy. 

And he even got his own toy from it back then.

Though, all of this was exclusive to the Japanese continuity of the G1 Cartoon and Toyline. But, none the less, I do like that Hasbro is giving some acknowledgment to the that continuity that was going on in japan at the time.
