Cassandra was staring at her wrist. She had always had a tattoo saying "5-6-17", and never knew why. "Cas! We gotta go!" Her girlfriend of two years, Macey, called to her. They were going to a expensive French restaurant for a date tonight. She picked up her things and walked into the front room, making sure the small, navy blue box was in her front pocket. Tonight was the night when, hopefully, Macey became Cassandra's wife. Today was 5-6-17. They got in the car, and drove to the restaurant. Soon, they were both sitting down and eating. Cassandra, once again, checked for the box before standing up. While she was standing, someone yelled for everyone to get down. She looked up, and someone was standing with a gun. She dropped down quickly, trying to pull Macey with her. Before Cassandra could pull her down, the man started shooting. Macey screamed, and dropped down. Cassandra hugged her, feeling a wet substance on her body. it was blood. Macey was shot. She continued to hug her limp girlfriends body, never letting go.
