(P.S. This takes place during Starlight before the events of S6 happened.)

Zane's POV

          It was an early morning and I was having a good morning walk since I've got nothing better to do. Besides, its Garroth's fault for making me trying to work out. A lot of us wanted to go to the rides or go to the beach or basically anything that has to do with the sun. Lucky for me,I decided to wake up early in the morning even before the sun actually shows up. After about what seems like an hour, I decided to head back to the beach house and take a nap. Yes, I know I just took a walk and then I'll sleep again but still.

As soon as I arrived at the beach house, I entered the house only to be greeted by a sleepy meif'wa. 

"Good morning Zane-Kun" Nana yawned.

"Uhh good morning Nana"

Nana walked to the kitchen, probably preparing for breakfast. As for me, I walked towards the couch and laid down.

"Why are you so early?" The meif'wa asked.

"Just felt like I needed a morning stroll. But I still feel sleepy so I'm just gonna take a nap."

"Oh ok. Well good nigh- Er umm sweet dreams Zane-Kun...??"

I chuckled and replied, "Thanks Nana"

Few hours later...(Probaby around 5:30 in the afternoon)

          Surprisingly when I woke up from my short nap this morning, I honestly didn't know that I woke up in the afternoon that I had to eat breakfast and lunch(brunch). Right now, I'm just reading my book while Nana was in the living room doing her own kind of thing. Garroth went out with the others doing  their own kind of fun, although they said that they might come back soon. Knowing that I was halfway through the book, I decided to take a little break from reading and just grab something to eat or drink.

As I made way to the kitchen, I grabbed a glass of water and drank. After I was finished, I couldn't help but notice Nana being frustrated over something. So I walked towards the living room to find Nana kneeling on the ground as she was holding a brush while watching....braiding tutorials??

"Hey Nana, what'cha doing?" Oh Irene I sound like Isabella now from Phineas and Ferb(Yeah you do XD)

Nana groaned and answered, "Kawaii-Chan just wanted to try to braid her hair but she can't do it."

"Hmm let me try" Nana looked a bit confused but shrugged it off.

I knelt down behind her as I borrowed her brush and started brushing her hair. I then started to braid her hair, trying my best not to mess it up. After for what seems like a few minutes, it was done.

(Lets just say that's how KC's hair looks like. Btw the picture is NOT mine)

"Well I tried my best" I said as I took a picture of how it looks like and showed it to Nana.

Nana gasped and I asked, "So umm...do you like it..??"

She was still speechless yet she looked surprised, 

"I LOVE IT!!!!!"

"Y-you do???" 

"Of course!!! This is really beautiful Zane!!" She said as tries to feel the braids that I did on her hair.

"Well th-thanks" I said as I felt a tint of heatness on my cheeks.

"How did you do that??" Nana asked as she turned to face me.

"What do you mean??"

"Like... How did you learn how to braid hair??"

"Oh well umm... Aphmau wanted to teach me how to braid hair for no apparent reason. At first I found a bit ridiculous but seemed to be really interesting. So I tried practicing doing it on my ponies and they somehow turned out really good. I also tried it on Aph and that turned out good as well yet I didn't want many people to know that I do those kinds of stuff." I explained as I rubbed the back of my neck through embarrasment.

"Aww well thats really nice to know." She said as she smiled and I smiled back too.

There was a bit of awkward silence between us, but then an idea popped up in my head.

"Hey umm... Nana?"

"Hm?"

"Since we haven't really went outside and haven't enjoyed ourselves yet, maybe you and I can go out for dinner??"

"Really?"

"Yeah. I know we said that we should take our relationship slow, but since I braided your hair, I wouldn't want to let that kind of beauty you have get in waste, right?" Thats when I realized what I just said. 

Nana was flustered and blushed furiously to what I said and so did I, making me look like a tomato. In fact, I THINK BOTH OF US ARE BECOMING TOMATOES.

"I uhh.. W-what I mean is um-" before I could even finish, I noticed Nana leaning in. She brought down my mask and gave a quick peck on my lips making me blush even more. Okay now this is just getting too awkward for me now. IRENE PLEASE HELP ME!!! I NEED TO STOP BLUSHING!!!!!

She giggled and replied, "I would love to go out for dinner."

I cooled down as I smiled. I got up reaching my hand out to help her. She took it and pulled herself up. Garroth showed up and yelled,

"Zane? Kawaii-Chan? I'm back!!!"

"Hey Garroth" I said.

"Hey baby brother. Woah, Kawaii-Chan you have a nice look on you."

Nana giggled and replied, "Aww thanks Garroth-Kun. Zane-Kun braided my hair and it looks amazing."

"My baby brother braiding hair? Well thats new. But I'm not gonna lie, it really looks cool."

I chuckled and replied, "Thanks Garroth. Now if you'll excuse us, we've gotta head out for dinner. See ya."

"Have fun lovebirds~"

I smiled and hand in hand, Nana and I walked out of the beach house and made our way to a restaurant.

Aaaaaannnnnnnd that's the end of this oneshot. Wow, who knew Zane knows how to braid hair??? Anyways, I hoped you guys enjoyed this Zane-Chan/Zana oneshot. I'm still trying to think of some other ideas for more oneshots but oh well. Thanks for reading!! <3
