Aphmau said that Phoenix Drop High was a little inspired by Toradora.

So Aaron and Aphmau are pretty much Taiga and Ryuuji....

Aphmau and Taiga are both short and have a nickname for them being short. Aphmau is called a potato and Taiga is called a 'palmtop tiger'.

Aaron and Ryuugi were both feared by other people. Ryuugi because of his eyes and Aaron because of his strength kinda?

They both had their first kiss in a dark room.

Aphmau had a crush on Garroth and Laurance before she fell for Aaron, and Taiga had a crush on that one dude with the glasses that I can't think the name of before she fell for Ryuugi.

Aphmau and Taiga are both Tsunderes. You know, "I-It's not like I like you or anything, baka!" Yeah 😂

Taiga and Aphmau both have people in love with them (Aphmau has Garroth, Laurance, and possibly Zane???, and Taiga has that glasses dude 😂)

Aaannnddd....I know this isn't PDH but Taiga and Aphmau were saved by Ryuuji/Aaron when near death (Ryuuji saved Taiga when she was collapsed in the snow, and Aaron saved Aphmau from drowning)

Clannad flashbacks... 😭

Also, Sword Art Online is basically Dreams Of Estorra but different.
