A/N: Hello, my wonderful readers, and Happy Valentine's Day. Today's random story is a Valentine's Day special featuring Shallot and Giblet experiencing their first Valentine's Day with the Sailor Senshi. Without further ado, here we go!

"Valentine's Day? What's that?"

The saiyan twin's question took aback Usagi, Minako, and Makoto. At present, Shallot, Giblet, Usagi, Ami, Minako, and Makoto are busy decorating the Mamiana Sakaue Park for Valentine's Day. Meanwhile, Rei Hino (also known as Sailor Mars) and Eliane Taiyou (also known as Sailor Galaxia) were out running errands to prepare for Juban's annual Valentine's Day festival, which was scheduled to take place at the Mamiana Sakaue Park tonight.

"What! Are you serious Shallot and Giblet, how could you two not know what Valentine's Day is?!" Minako exclaimed while getting in the faces of Shallot and Giblet.

Ami intervened and managed to separate Minako from the twins.

"Girls, Shallot and Giblet's race wasn't known for romance. They likely didn't even know about Valentine's Day." Ami reasoned as she turned to Shallot and Giblet.

"Valentine's Day is a holiday celebrated on February 14th every year on Earth. It is a day when people express their love and affection for one another by exchanging gifts, cards, and flowers." Ami explained.

With that answer, the Sailor Senshi saw Shallot give a surprised look while Giblet was sweating buckets and had a dumbfounded look on his face.

"ARE YOU SERIOUS?!!" Giblet yelled, causing everyone to jump.

Calming down from Giblet's outburst, Usagi jumps in. "Yeah, I can't wait to see what Momo has planned for me!" she exclaims excitedly. With a blush, Usagi closes her eyes and claps her hands together in excitement as she envisions what her boyfriend has planned.

As Usagi was busy daydreaming about Mamoru, Shallot began thinking about what Ami said about Valentine's Day.

"I think we should try it, Giblet." Shallot suggested. Giblet looked at his brother as if he said he could fly to the moon in his Great Ape form.

"Are you insane?!" Giblet exclaimed.

"Come on Giblet, we both love girls who are Sailor Senshi. I love Rei and you love Eliane." Shallot reasoned. Usagi, Minako, and Makoto's faces became smug while Ami smiled warmly at the mention of Giblet's feelings for Eliane.

"Ah, so the cold guy Giblet isn't so cold after~" Minako teased. Soon, Giblet's face got red enough to blend into his red coat.

"Eliane...isn't...I'm...not...It's not like that!" Giblet yelped as he punched Minako and his brother on their heads. Minako and Shallot winced and hugged their arms around the large lump that had formed on their heads.

"OWW, THAT HURT! Look, since it's going to be Valentine's Day soon, we might as well take this opportunity to tell them how we feel!" Shallot irritably exclaimed. Giblet thought about it and, reluctantly, agreed.

"Alright, that's settled. But...um...how do we do this?" Shallot asked, causing everyone, except for Minako, to anime fall.

"All right, this looks like a job for Minako the goddess of love! So, if you two want, I can strip down the details~" Mina exclaimed as she stripped down the shoulder part of her shirt. Tick marks appear on Shallot and Gible's heads.

"No offense Mina, but knowing you, we'd rather have good advice than this ending up a disaster." Giblet irritably said. The other Sailor Senshi nod their heads in agreement, while Mina sulks in the corner, upset about their reaction.

As Minako was sulking, Ami looked back at the twins.

"Well, Shallot, I would go ask Rei's grandpa if it's alright to date her." Ami advised.

As soon as Ami said that, Shallot began sweating buckets about asking Rei's grandfather for permission to date her. He knew that her grandfather had never been supportive of the idea of Rei getting married or even dating, especially after the way her father and his secretary had treated her. However, Shallot had come up with the idea to date her, so he was determined to follow through with it, come hell or high water.

With Grandpa Hino

Grandpa Hino was meditating when someone knocked on his door.

"Come in," he said. The door opened, revealing Shallot, his newest and most favorite apprentice. Shallot had a nervous look on his face, which concerned Grandpa Hino.

"What's wrong, Shallot?" he asked. Shallot entered the room quietly, closed the door, and sat on the opposite side of Grandpa Hino.

"Can we talk?" Shallot nervously asked, but Grandpa Hino already knew what this conversation was about thanks to his strong senses.

"You will ask for my consent to date my granddaughter, Rei." said Grandpa Hino. Shallot was tense and awaited the worst until he felt a hand on his shoulder. He looked up to see Grandpa Hino smiling at him.

"It's yours." said Grandpa Hino, shocking Shallot.

"Why? I thought you didn't want Rei to date anyone." Shallot said. Grandpa Hino crossed his arms.

"Well, I can see that you are a kind and honorable man. You support and help Rei with whatever she goes through, protect her from people who are cruel to her, and did not beg to become my apprentice just to be near Rei like that foolish Yuichiro." Grandpa Hino explained, causing Shallot to lightly blush at his praise.

"This is my first time being interested in celebrating Valentine's Day, so I don't know what to do." Shallot admitted, albeit embarrassed. Grandpa Hino grins and pats Shallot on the back.

"I have an idea. Why don't you surprise Rei with a bouquet and a homemade dinner before the festival? I'm going to be in charge of ensuring sure the festival is running properly so I'll be gone for a few hours." Grandpa Hino advised.

"Where can I get a bouquet from?" Shallot asked.

"There is a flower shop named "Heavenly Blooms" in the Juban Shopping District that sells various kinds of flowers. Rei's favorite flowers are Casablanca Lilies." Grandpa Hino said. Shallot smiled, got up, thanked Grandpa Hino, and headed out the door.

Giblet was walking through Juban Shopping District to Heavenly Blooms when he saw his brother walking towards him on the opposite side of the sidewalk.

"Hey Giblet, are you here to buy flowers for Eliane?" teased Shallot with a smirk. Giblet groaned as they entered the building. Immediately, the scents of honey and apple filled their noses, and they could see that the rose aisle was completely bare.

"Hello, can I assist you both?" The brothers turned around to find a woman in her late twenties with light brown hair and greenish-yellow eyes. She was wearing a turquoise apron with a yellow-orange shirt underneath.

"Hi, do you have any Casablanca Lilies left in stock?" Shallot asked while Giblet went to look for some flowers that might suit Eliane. The shopkeeper looked surprised at Shallot's request.

"That's a rare request, we always get a bunch of Casablanca Lily bouquets, but not many people pick them as a Valentine's Day present. They normally go for the old-fashioned roses." The shopkeeper explained and gestured for him to follow her.

There, in the corner of the store, was a stand of Casablanca Lily bouquets. The shopkeeper scanned through the bouquets and found one that looked fresh.

"This one looks like it was just picked yesterday." the shopkeeper said in excitement. Shallot smiled and picked it. While all that was happening, Giblet found a bouquet that had deep purple petals speckled with white.

They reminded Giblet of the cosmos, deep, but full of the light of the stars. The shopkeeper noticed Giblet's fascination with the flowers and walked over to him.

"These flowers are called, "Night Sky Petunias." They're called that because the pattern resembles a starry sky." the shopkeeper explained. After a few seconds of thinking, Giblet looked at the shopkeeper.

"Could you possibly make a bouquet out of these flowers?" Giblet asked.

"Sure, just give me a few minutes." the shopkeeper said as she grabbed a few of the flowers and made her way to the back of the shop. A couple of minutes later, she returns with the flowers in a bouquet.

"Alright, here you are." she said as she handed the bouquet to Giblet.

"Is that all for today?" the shopkeeper asked. Shallot and Giblet nod their heads, pay for the bouquets, and walk out of the store, but not without saying thank you to the shopkeeper, who waves at them with a smile.

As the two brothers walk out of the store, they notice the time on the clock says, 5:30 pm.

"We only have two hours till the festival starts, we better hurry and confess before it begins." Shallot said. Giblet nodded and the brothers went back to their respective homes to get ready for the big moment.

Shallot

"Of course, Grandpa had to put himself in charge of this festival." Rei groaned as she made it home. It was nighttime, about an hour before the Valentine's Day festival was going to start.

Rei hated Valentine's Day because it reminded her that she was still single and alone. Her grandfather had never been supportive of the idea of her getting married or even dating so she felt like she was never going to be married and have a family of her own. But, her grandfather made her go out and grab some extra decorations for the festival.

As she got to her room, she noticed that it was pitch black with the only light being the moon. As she turns on her lamp, she spots a letter on her nightstand. She picks it up and it reads:

Meet me in the kitchen at 6:30 pm. Make sure you wear something not too casual but not too formal.                                                                                                                                                                                              Shallot

Rei was confused by Shallot's note and She looked at the time: 6:10 pm. She didn't know why he wrote this note, but she complied anyway. She put on a little, red, dress and made her way to the kitchen where she was shocked to see the table was set like one you'd find at a fancy restaurant. There were candles lit on each side and in the middle was a bouquet of her favorite flowers: Casablanca Lilies.

"Hey Rei."

Rei turned around to see Shallot wearing a navy-blue blazer followed by beige-colored dress pants with complementing brown shoes.

"Shallot, what is this?" Rei asked. Shallot came up to her and wrapped his arms around her waist making Rei blush at the closeness.

"This is my way of telling you how I feel." He said with a blush also prominent on his face. Rei realizes what Shallot means and begins to panic.

"What about my Grandpa?" she panicky asked. Shallot smiled warmly, knowing that he didn't have to worry about that.

"You don't have to worry; he gave me his consent." he proudly said. Rei's astonished face melts into a loving smile as Shallot says those three wonderful words that she's longed to hear.

"I love you, Rei Hino."

Giblet

Eliane had made it home after helping Rei find some extra decorations for the festival. While Eliane had never celebrated Valentine's Day before, she wasn't looking forward to it. Her home planet was so hate-filled that there was hardly any love on it. Plus, after all the horrible things she's done to the universe while Chaos was controlling her, she hardly thinks she deserves to be loved.

As she made it through the door, she smelled something good from the kitchen. It smelled like her favorite dish, Meatloaf. When she got to the kitchen, she saw that the table was set like one you'd find at a fancy restaurant. There were candles lit on each side and in the middle was a bouquet she had never seen before.

"You made it back safely, that's good."

Eliane turned around to see the person she secretly loved, Giblet.

"Giblet, did you do all this?" she asked. Giblet blushed and shyly turned his head away.

"Yeah, sorta." he confirmed. Giblet then came up to her and wrapped his arms around her waist making Eliane blush at the closeness.

"This is my way of telling you how I feel." He said. When he looked back at Eliane, he was puzzled to see tears perking in her eyes.

"Why do you love me? After all the terrible things I've done?" She cried. Giblet suddenly pushed Eliane closer to him and their lips touched. The sudden contact shocked Eliane but soon, she melted into the kiss. After a minute, they broke apart, with a trail of saliva still attached to their lips, their faces flushed.

"I love you, Eliane Taiyou."

Eliane smiled and nuzzled her head into his chest.

"I love you too, Giblet."

In the end, both couples decided to skip the festival and enjoy Valentine's Day at home, in each other's arms.
