Hullo!
Ok. Soooo, I entered a contest to get this egg thing-a-ma-bobber (QueenGlory2016 ) and I have to write a short story of finding the egg!

I think the egg will be a RainWing dragonet. Maybe cursed.

Here goes nothing:

CRACK!
"Ah!" I screamed in terror. "Who's there?"

Silence.

"I know your out there!" I yelled into the distance.

Silence.

"Well," I muttered. "If you won't show yourself, I'll have to find you. Let's just call it a game of hide or seek, okay?"

My talons drug around the dirt in the dimly lit Rainforest. The normal sizzle could be heard from my talons on the rough turf.

POP!

My head swung around.

There in between the heaving vines sat an egg. An egg.

"Whoa," I said, as I scrambled over to the egg. I didn't want to risk touching it.

The egg was odd. I had never seen an egg like that before. It was rainbow colored. Red, orange, yellow, etc. Actually, I've never seen an egg before. So I had no rights to say it looked weird.

"Hey little guy," I whispered as I admired the egg. I desperately wanted to touch it in my claws, but that would put the little dragonet in danger.

The egg began cracking, spreading like a spider's web.

"I gotta get my mom!" I jumped and took off. "I'll be back, buddy!"
