Book Ideas!

Why, hello there! I haven't posted on here in almost two months, so hey!

As you can tell by the title, I've got two book plots (prologues and a chapter) forming in my head. I want all of you guys to vote on which is better.

First is: The Lone Star
                        Prologue

BUCKY STUCK his head out the window to see the sky begin to crumble.

"RUN!" A voice echoed through the falling world.

Wind whipped Bucky's hair into his dark violet eyes, and his clothes tugged at his sweaty skin.

"Buck!" His mother grasped him with her olive colored arms. "We've got to get out of here!" As Bucky was being dragged away from his small oval window, he saw trees being ripped up by their roots. The sky evolved into a threatening black color as the world shook violently.

"Bucky!" his mother yelled in his ear. "We need to get you to safety!"

Bucky and his mother scrambled down the stairs of their levitating house. The floor was shredded from broken glass, and blood littered the beaten wooden floor.

"Get out of here!" his mother called as she stumbled down the last couple of stairs.

Bucky heard a deafening CRACK as his mother fell down the stairs. He didn't even have to look back to tell she was dead. His mother's last words echoed in Bucky's head: "get out of here!"

Bucky charged to the only place to be safe, the astronomy building. As Bucky ran out of his house, chaos erupted everywhere. The sky thundered and spit bolts of lighting around. The people of Galactic-Star were going to go down just as their planet was.

Once Bucky reached the astronomy building, he shoved open the big starry black doors into the building lit up by the universe. The planetarium had rows of blood red chairs surrounding the huge projector that showed the twinkling constellations and vibrant planets.

Bucky watched in horror as his planet, Galactic-Star went up in flames. He scanned the planets nearby to Galactic-Star. Zinger, Graha, Honuiea, and Blania. Every single one a threat.

Bucky jogged over to the projector and touched the arrow buttons. The projected universe spun in circles until it stopped on another universe, not so far away. He peered up at the new, unfamiliar planets. They all looked healthy and beautiful. But one in particular stood out to Bucky.

"Projector, show me Earth," Bucky demanded.

The projector zoomed in on the gorgeous blue and green planet. The vital planet set off a warming glow, almost like it was beckoning Bucky in.

"Earth," the projector mimicked in an odd accent. "Approximately 4.543 billion years old. The land mass is 196.9 million mi². The known occupants is 7.4 billion people."

Bucky's mouth gaped in shock. "7.4 billion people."

"Yes, sir. I'm positive my knowledge is 100% accurate," the projector replied.

Bucky ran out of the planetarium, off towards where the Galactic-Star ships were being kept.

Bucky revved up the engine to his Onztvia 300.

He out looked his falling planet, people flailing their arms as they ran away in terror as the world collapsed around them.

"Time to go," he said to the engine.

The engine roared to life and the ship started to take off from the ground. It rumbled against the already quaking ground. Soon Bucky wasn't on his dying planet, now thousands of miles away. He had one destination and one destination only. And that one destination was called Earth.

Chapter One

I would say evil masterminds don't exist, but they do. They want to destroy your whole planet so their unruly plan can unfold.

I'm getting a little ahead of myself, aren't I?

I shouldn't leave you waiting, so let's jump into this crazy adventure of heartbreak, loss, laughter, and much more.

It all started when chipmunk asked if I was dead.

Next: Next Generation
                Chapter One: Vega

"Get up!" A shrill voice barked into my ear.

My heart slammed out of my chest as I lept from my bed.

"You overslept," the same voice said. "Again."

My eyes slowly traveled up to see my company's face. Her frosty grey hair was pulled up into a neat bun. Her violet eyes seemed to stare into my soul; rummaging through all my personal belongings. She held a clipboard in her hand, and a fancy ballpoint pen in the other. She wore her usually emerald green dress with a hideous floral pattern decorating it.

I slowly swallowed the remaining saliva in my mouth. "Hello, Miss Stepp."

An uneasy smile spread across Stepp's face. "Get ready, Vega. You'll miss breakfast." She began to turn on her heels, but added, "You sure don't live up to your name, dear." With that she pranced out of the room, her green dress swaying.

I could feel the heat in my face rising. I angrily grabbed my clothes for the day (an old jacket and leggings). I practically threw them on, and I marched out the door. The corridors were as lifeless as ever, since everyone had already paraded to the "schlop" food we called breakfast.

Those are the two entries! Vote on which one you enjoyed the most down below.

BUT WAIT.

Here is a book idea I'm working on forming:

A girl wakes up in a room. No doors, no windows, no nothing. She can't remember a thing, and she's stuck in a solid cubical of nothing. Not only that, but the room is so silent that she hears the blood rushing through her veins. Her heart like a thunderstorm beating in her chest. She pounds on the wall, but the sound is agonizingly loud. She stumbles back, and crashes onto the floor. She blacks out. The next day there is food waiting for her. The food consists of bread, cheese, and milk placed on a silver tray. There is a note attached, but she can barely make out the words. As she eats, the chewing and grinding is deafening due to the silence. She can hardly tolerate it, and drops the food. Time passes (aka I couldn't think of anything else) and each day a new thing appears on the tray. Then she awakes in a whole different room of terror! *ooohs and aaahs*

Eventually stuff happens and yeah. Good? Bad? Eh? Any recommendations?
