Rose and Blue Made Me Write This

1. you cannot refuse

2. If you break a rule you have to post a video of yourself singing on wattpad as punishment

3. You have to do it in one week or less

4. you must say 13 things about yourself

5. You have to tag 15 people

6. No doing this in the comments

7. The chapter must have a creative title!!!

I was challenged by Dragons_Rose and blue___22, both of whom surely know my first fact, which is that:

1. I really, really do not want to face the punishment for refusing to complete this challenge. True, I THINK they have no actual way to enforce it, but I also think it would be unwise to underestimate them. Anyway, it's not the singing part of it that I would mind so much. I wouldn't call myself a good singer by any means, but I do sing on a regular basis anyway. No one complains about me being terrible, so I guess that's something. I'm probably about average, although...

2. I can sight read music fairly well. Again, I'm not as good as I could be, but I am better at it than a lot of people I know. This helps me to sing a new piece of music almost perfectly on about the second try.

3. What I was about to say was that the part I would mind would be having to show myself in the video, but this was a fact I already used in a different facts challenge. So instead I'll tell you that the most recent photo I allowed myself to be in was a photo of myself and the people I work with... which was taken for work. I don't take selfies or hang out with people who like taking lots of pictures, so that's that.

4. I also want to note that it's more difficult to complete these challenges each time because I have to come up with new facts. I had to go back and reread my previous challenges just to be sure of it.

5. The last movie I watched was Rogue One, which I went to by myself because my friends went on the opening night when I was busy. That's not unusual though, I do a lot of stuff by myself.

6. Right now I'm watching Chopped, which is one of those shows that's nice to have playing in the background while I'm doing other things. It doesn't require your full attention, and you can get engrossed in the other thing you're doing for as short or long as you want and also look up for a distraction or a break whenever you want.

7. I'm currently playing Pokémon Moon. I'm on the fourth island, I've caught 92 different Pokémon (including the Greninja I transferred from the demo and the Munchlax I got in the special giveaway and have since evolved), and my favorite NPC so far is Gladion. I laugh at the mechanic of being able to creep into other people's houses and fall asleep in the beds there. This happens to me a lot when I'm wandering around pressing "A" and looking for fun descriptions or hidden things. Just before writing this, I wandered into such a situation and got woken up by an NPC Meowth who I actually thought was attacking me for being a stranger who trespassed and fell asleep in its favorite spot. Turned out to just be giving me an Awakening? That's it, Nintendo, encourage creepy behavior with item rewards!

8. I am three Pokémon away from completing my Pokédex in Pokémon X. I could have finished it before Moon came out if I hadn't been so busy reading entries for the Pokémon Watties. Oh, well, I'm still going to get it as soon as I find someone to trade with. And now I have an even bigger Pokédex to work on!

9. I would never want to live in a big city like Chicago or New York. I don't even like visiting them. I can't stand the crowds of people. I feel penned in when I can't see the sky properly because of sky scrapers and tall buildings. It feels wrong to see so much pavement and so little of grass and trees and greenery. Also, there's nothing in a city that really attracts me as a person who enjoys staying home and reading books and writing stories and just thinking about things rather than "going out" to the kinds of places other people apparently find to be fun and exciting.

10. I find it easier to talk to people online than in real life. I find it easier to communicate through writing in general as opposed to speaking.

11. I often feel as though people might like me better online, too. The difference actually surprises me at times.

12. I really enjoy being able to get to know people from all around the world through Wattpad. In my daily life, I have the chance to interact with such a tiny representation of humanity in comparison to huge number of people I can get to know online. It opens up so many great opportunities for making friends and for gaining a wider perspective. That's something I've enjoyed more and more in my four or so years here.

13. I sometimes mention you guys to my IRL friends, even though they don't really get it. It's just that they sometimes ask how my weekend was or what I was up to the previous night and I have no real answer besides what I was up to here on Wattpad or in the GRA. What can I say? It's an important part of my life now.

Yes, I know that some of the users I picked are inactive. The rules did not say I had to pick active users; I just needed to get to fifteen people. Rule following accomplished! That said, I will obviously not be forcing any of these people to accept "the consequences" for not participating. I honestly don't care. I've done what I had to do, and now I can rest easy.
