Short Angst Story #3 (But it's a little bit happier)
The young child laid on his bed, listening to his friend as they played a game. just listening to their voice calmed their horrid thoughts of death and other stuff, a smile creeped across his face as their friend continued to talk. he lowly laughed a little bit as the pulled his blanket over them, still listening to their friends calming voice screaming about how scary realistic the game was over-throwing the audio from the horror stories from their television.
the younger stopped smiling as something came into her thoughts, 'as long as you're still alive, i'm always going to be here..[:' her eyes threatened to spill a few tears but wiped the tear from their eyes. her friend continued to speak about something, she wasn't really paying attention she was just listening to the voice.
the younger cuddled up and started talking about how scared they were and smiled as their friend also talked, they just wanted to hear their voice. the calming voice, that still kept them sane, that still kept them alive. they and their friend laughed about horror as they whined about getting over their fear and being scared.
the older talked about something random, the younger just listened to the voice as it wrapped itself in its blanket as the younger started saying 'no' to its television. it started laughing a little smiling as they continued to listen to the voice emitting from their tablet.
the same smile that creeped onto his face again
'mirrors are weird, ya know?'
