We need to talk about the fact that Dean was going to kill Sam and didn't.

Have you ever tried to bite your own thumb off?

Your fingers are about as hard as carrots. If you can eat a carrot you should be able to bite off your own thumb. But your brain won't let you. It would hurt too much.

Dean was really truly trying to kill Sam. It wasn't some elaborate plot to kill Death.

He swung the skythe and he meant for it to cut off his brothers head.

But in the end it wasn't possible for Dean to kill Sam.

He didn't even mean to miss Sam or hit Death it just happened.

He looks shocked like he couldn't believe what he had done.

He could never do anything to hurt Sam.

I keep seeing things on Tumblr about how maybe the Winchesters will stop with the co dependent thing this year.

You realize that's like the center of Deans personality right?

I mean Sam too just not quite to the extent of Dean. Sam has left the family before and he's usually the one who says they need to stop with the whole risking the world to save eachother, but Deans over here like WE ARE BROTHERS WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? I GOTTA SAVE MY WITTLE SAMMY!!!!!!!!

The co dependency is what makes the show. That's how the Winchesters work. It's what separates Sam and Dean from heaven. They love each other (as brothers no wincest) and that's how it is. If you don't like the co dependency why are you watching this show; that's the entire plot!
