The Liberator is (eXcUsE mE "WAS") quite a nice ship though... and it's GIANT.
Compared to that Prisoner Transport ship thing (??) in the second episode..
That prisoner ship was like the only reference to anything English in the entire series because it's called "London".
I mean, England doesn't even exist in that series.
Neither does any other country (that isn't an entire planet)
Planets are to them what countries are for us.

BUT unlike pretty much any other film or series that was made in the 20th century and is happening in the future of early 2000s, this is happening quite far in the future.
We don't know when, but we do know that some first long range spaceships were made 700 years ago.
My brother assumes it's towards the end of the 21st century.
