Enough (part 2)
Ranboo teleported to his house, still fuming from the argument, it was still way too fresh in his mind.
He took a few deep breaths and headed to his door, opening it and going inside.
He sat down inside his messy house, slowly calming down and going back to his original size and the particles slowly started to dissipate.
The enderman hybrid brought his knees to his chest and gently rested his head on top of them. Why did he do that? Why did he snap? Did.... did Fundy's and Niki's words mean that much towards him?
He sighed and got up, questions still buzzing in his mind, he walked a brisk pace towards his closet, taking out a new shirt, trousers and blazer; as he had stretched the ones he was currently wearing when he turned into whatever that was.
He shuddered lightly, trying not to dwell too long on the subject. It honestly scared him a bit. He knew he could do something like that but not to that extent.
He shook his head and went upstairs to change, throwing away the clothing he had ruined. He somehow didn't break his shoes, which he was more than thankful for considering it's hard to find shoes in his size.
It didn't take long for Ranboo to change seeing as he had changed into these clothes a million times before.
He had his tie draped around his neck, as he wasn't in the right mind set to tie it around his neck properly without harming himself.
He headed down stairs and looked across the mess in his house, he sighed lightly, heading towards the mess. He stood there for a moment, tail swishing behind him calmly, hands on his hips. The enderman hybrid scanned the chests and random items scattered on the floor.
Ranboo shook his head, bended down and started moving the barrels and chests. He needed to clean his house at some point, so why not do it now when nobody wants to see him?
Thankfully, it didn't take long for Ranboo to move everything and put it all to the side. The boy was actually a lot stronger than most people would think. He never really uses his strength and he isn't one to boast about it either. He didn't want to be used by the people in L'manburg for his strength because an enderman is known for their strength, Ranboo however, had twice if not triple the strength a normal enderman would have. He didn't know how but he decided not to question it, he guessed it had something to do with being an enderman hybrid.
However, he would use his strength if he absolutely had to, especially if he was trying to protect his friends from danger. That's probably the only reason he would willingly use his strength, for protection, that and to sometimes help with chores around the house.
The boy shook his head and bent down to pick up a lone piece of tissue from the musty ground, making him think about how he very much needed to clean the wooden floor. His ear twitched slightly, making him stop in his tracks. Someone knocked at the door.
His tail flicked in confusion. Who would want to see him after the stunt he just pulled? He had no doubt that all the people there at the argument were at least a little scared of him seeing as they had never seen the hybrid in that state before.
He stood back up and put the tissue in the bin as he walked by it and made his way to the door. He hesitantly grabbed the door handle and opened the door, only to be met with a green blob.
"Oh, hi dream! Didn't expect to see you today. What do you need?" Ranboo asked, trying to keep his composure at the sudden appearance of Dream.
In all honesty, Ranboo was a little bit scared of the green hooded warrior. And who wouldn't? He is one of, if not, the most powerful person on the server. Not to mention his ability to manipulate people into doing his bidding. That's the part that has to scare Ranboo the most.
"Eh, not much, just thought I should stop by today and just chat about random things seeing as I have nothing planned today" Dream replied lazily. Ranboo could almost see the smirk hidden under that mask.
"Of course! Want to come in?" Ranboo offered, thankful his acting skills are good in situations like these.
"If that's alright, then yes" Ranboo nodded and moved to the side letting the small man in.
"While we're talking, is it ok if I keep cleaning? I want to try and tidy my house for once as I haven't cleaned the house the whole time I've been living here" Ranboo asked, scratching his neck nervously.
"That's fine, as long as we are able to talk" Dream replied, leaning on a nearby wall to let Ranboo have more room to clean.
Ranboo grabbed a broom from the nearby storage closet. He'd never think he would touch this thing again.
The hybrid sighed internally and stepped into the middle of the somewhat empty room and started to sweep the floor to try and get rid of all the dust that lurked around his house, although he probably won't be able to get it all.
"Sooo.... what did you want to talk about?" Ranboo questioned, raising his eye brown a bit, tail flicking behind him as he started to sweep the dust into the middle of the room, to hopefully sweep it up once he had gone around the room for all the dust.
"Well, I wanted to talk about what happened earlier with the argument with the rest of L'manburg" Dream sneered, looking at the back of the hybrid.
Ranboo froze in his steps. He clutched the broom he was holding, you could physically hear the small snaps coming from the grip Ranboo had on the stick. He turned his head to look at the man, eyes holding a small amount of malice hidden under his glassy eyes.
"H-how do you know about that?" Ranboo muttered, slowly turning his body to face the masked man.
"I was there" Dream smirked, crossing his arms over his chest, looking at the taller with spite.
Ranboo stayed silent, staring directly at the man with animosity reflected in his eyes.
"Why do you want to know?" Ranboo asked, gritting his teeth, trying to refrain from lunging at the short man.
"Well, I wanted to know more about what happened, if you don't mind me asking of course" Dream remarked, a smug smile creeping it's way onto the masked mans face.
Ranboo's tail swished angrily. "I think you already know what happened, because as you said, you were there" Ranboo muttered.
"I wanted to get more detail on what happened as I couldn't hear what was being said because I was too far away." Dream replied nonchalantly, as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.
"I was hoping to know wh-" Dream started, but got interrupted by a knock on the door.
Ranboo silently cheered, thankful for an interruption this one time.
Ranboo almost pranced to the door in glee, but quickly remembered Dream was behind him. He walked to the door after placing his now cracked broom against a wall and opened it to find his friends.
"Hi Phil, Techno, what can I do for ya?" Ranboo smiled.
"Eh, not much, just thought we could stop by and give you a visit" Techno replied with his usual monotone voice.
Ranboo stopped for a moment and glanced at Phil and Techno with pleading eyes and shot his eyes to the direction of Dream who was watching the interaction in the back ground. Phil immediately took the hint and played along, giving Ranboo a subtle but firm nod. Ranboo quickly resumed talking, not wanting to raise any suspicions from dream.
"That's nice to hear! How about you Phil, how are you doing?" Ranboo asked with as much enthusiasm as he could muster.
"I'm good mate, thanks, I actually have something to tell you and Techno, its private, so do you mind if we come in?" Phil replied, gesturing to Ranboo's interior.
"Alright then, come in!" Ranboo smiled, making way for the two to get in before closing the door behind him and making his way over to Dream.
"Is it ok if we continue this conversation later Dream? You can get the info from Tubbo if I'm not around when you want to talk about this again, plus, this is urgent" Ranboo asserted, staring directly at the masked man.
"That's fine by me, see ya later I guess" Dream replied, waving to Ranboo and letting himself out of the hybrids home.
Ranboo closed the door behind the man, letting out a sigh of relief before turning back to the duo.
"You guys could not have had a better timing" Ranboo muttered, running his hand through his different coloured hair.
"Ya, glad we came here as well, you looked like you desperately needed to get out of that situation man" Phil chuckled, resting a hand of comfort on Ranboo's shoulder.
"Same here, but, why was Dream here? He doesn't usually interact with you" Techno questioned, walking up to Ranboo.
"Its a long story, but, uh, is it ok if I stay at your house for a bit? The people in L'manburg are kinda scared of me and I don't want to scare them more?" Ranboo asked, although he sounded more unsure of himself the more he talked.
" 'Course mate, but please tell us the story once we get to Techno's house, I want to hear how you managed to get them to be scared of you" Phil smiled, looking at Techno for affirmation on whether Ranboo can stay at his house for a few days. Techno only nodded.
Ranboo smiled. "Thank you guys! I'll definitely tell you when we get there. Just let me get my armor and sword first."
The two only nodded, Phil holding a warm smile while Techno just wore his usual blank stare. The two headed to the door and waiting for the tall hybrid to get his things.
It didn't take long as the hybrid was wearing all his armor with his sword strapped to his waist and a satchel over his shoulder with his memory book in.
Ranboo smiled at the two before heading out of the house, the two following closely behind. Techno closed the door behind him, the door locking itself automatically.
The three trondled to Techno's house, with Ranboo practically running ahead, tail whipping excitedly, a bright smile gracing his features.
The duo looked at eachother and chuckled, continuing to follow the enderman hybrid; curious about how someone as bright and cheery as Ranboo, scared all of the citizens of L'manburg in one day.
