Collapse (part 2 of Changed??)

It's been 3 weeks since the change had happened and everything was going smoothly. The government had said to go about their daily lives as usual but you are to not use any of your new found abilities for bad.

That's to be expected but nothing bad had happened, yet. Ranboo was just walking down the side walk, wearing his usual attire of a tux with a red tie, just enjoying his day, although it was a still a bit peculiar to see everyone with some sort of animal feature. But he didn't mind all that much.

But that was until he heard a loud boom, a shockwave quickly following. Ranboo shielded his head from the sudden force as well as the people around him. Over the past few weeks, the hybrid had started to get protective of random people and he didn't know why, but he could only guess it was because of the change that took place had messed with his genes in some way.

He stood up straight and started running, tail flicking behind him in fear and confusion, in the direction of the noise only to stop in his tracks. A part of a building, a skyscraper he believed, had a chunk of its base blown out and had started to fall.

His eyes widened as he thought of the building, appearing outside of it moments later. He could hear screams from the inside. He wasted no time in running in, adrenaline taking over. He ignored the yells and protests of people yelling at him to stop and come back.

He looked around in the crumbling building, seeing a group of people under some rubble, his tail flicking in worry. He sprinted over to them, lifting the debris as fast and as gently as he could, it was surprisingly easy. He didn't bother to question it and started helping the people up and guiding them to the exit. It didn't take long as Ranboo had picked up the few people who weren't able to use their legs and the people that were able to move had already exited the collapsing building. He put the people he had carried on the pavement, asking the closest person to watch over them for him, they nodded and sat next to the wounded men and women, looking them over for any serious damage.

Ranboo heard a yell and snapped his head in the direction of the noise to see a familiar face trapped under pieces of the falling building, it was Dream. He hesitated to run towards him but quickly shook his head and took off towards the trapped individual, because whether or not of his actions, he was still a person.

The enderman hybrid was quick to get to the trapped boy and lift the concrete off him, although it was a bit rough with how light it felt to the young boy. The green hooded boy groaned in pain and was gently lifted off the ground and into the hybrids arms, he quickly teleported to the entrance of the falling building, putting the wounded boy next to the people.

He could still hear screams coming from inside, but he couldn't save them all at once, so he did the only thing he knew he could do, he held the building. He stood to his full height, which was about 8,5 (his minecraft character is this tall you can google it, I know hes 6,6) and acted like a support for the tall building.

He grunted at the weight in his hands but didn't falter, he knew if he let go, people would die and he wasn't about to let that happen.

"THERE ARE STILL PEOPLE INSIDE, GET THEM, I'LL KEEP THE BUILDING STEADY" Ranboo yelled to the people behind him, tail flicking behind him in anticipation. They got the hint and rushed in, quickly coming out with people unconscious or wounded.

Ranboo struggled to keep the building up, letting small murmurs or growls escape his lips. He kept shifting his hands, trying to keep it steady. The people around him stood in awe, surprised by the boys strength.

More and more people kept on coming out with more injured people. The enderman hybrid stood his ground and continued to release small noises in hopes of trying to ease the pains in his muscles.

"Ranboo!" A voice yelled behind him, making the tall boy look in the direction of the familier voice, only to be met with the worried eyes of his friends, more specifically Phil and Techno, worry was written all over their faces. He scanned his group of friends, making eye contact with all of them once, concern lacing their features.

Ranboo returned the concern. He could tell they were worried about him, I mean, who wouldn't? A young boy had a sky scraper in the palm of his hands. He focused his attention back on the building, tail whipping behind him.

"C'mon.... any time now...." Ranboo muttered glancing at the people coming out.

"IS THAT EVERYONE?" The enderman hybrid yelled, taking a quick glance behind him.

"NO, THERES SOMEONE TRAPPED UNDER SOME RUBBLE, WE CANT LIFT IT OFF OF THEM" A voice yelled back.

"Oh for the love of..." Ranboo muttered, looking to the inside, managing to see the person stuck.

"I CAN'T DO ANYTHING, I'M STILL HOLDING THE BUILDING, WHAT DO WE DO!?" Ranboo yelled, shifting the weight of the building in his hands.

"DO I JUST THROW THE BUILDING IN THE AIR AND GO FOR THEM!?" He yelled again sarcastically.

"THATS NOT ACTUALLY A BAD IDEA, BUT YOU'LL HAVE TO THROW IT HARD" another howled.

"I WAS JOKING BUT OK" the hybrid shouted, rolling his eyes.

"ON THE COUNT OF THREE, ONE, TWO" Ranboo shouted getting ready to chuck it and run.

"THREE!" Ranboo chucked the building as hard as he could and sprinted towards the stuck man. They were unconscious so it should be easy. With a flick of the wrist, the concrete was off of the man, The hybrid quickly grabbed the man and ran towards the exit of the crumbling building.

"RUN RANBOO!!!" His friends shouted at him, he complied and was quickly out of the building. He placed the unconscious man on the ground before turning back to the building, it was falling and fast.

Before Ranboo could even get into a stance, the buildings edge was already in his hands and he was pushed back into the concrete. He grunted, determined to stop the building,he pushed against the weight of the building quickly managing to stop it from pushing him further into the ground, which he was very thankful for. With the time he spared, he looked at his friends and the crowd surrounding the building, although standing back a bit to avoid falling concrete. They all looked terrified.

Ranboo made eye contact with Phil and gave him a firm nod, which the older quickly returned, although a bit hesitant.

The hybrid turned back to the building and started taking steps forward with the building in his hands to hopefully try and stop it from tipping over as it was starting to feel a bit top heavy.

He pushed and shoved his way towards the building, his eyes releasing a light glow. He eventually managed to get to the base of where the building first blew up.

"WHAT DO I DO NOW!? I CAN'T HOLD THIS FOREVER!" He yelled, sparing a quick glance at the crowd.

He stopped in his tracks as he heard sirens, "Paramedics!" the boy thought, relief washing over him. He also heard the police and fire department sirens. "Oh thank god..." he felt like collapsing, he was exhausted. The adrenaline had started to wear off by now.

He could hear the static of radios and chatter of police get closer to him.

"How you doing son?" A policeman with horns asked.

"Sir, with all due respect, how do you think I'm doing?" The tall boy asked panting, tail flicking gently behind him, he flicked his head towards behind him, gesturing to the marks at his feet and the line for when the buildings weight pushed him back.

"Alright, we are getting materials for the building to help support it and are getting statements so you can rest. Just hold the building for a little longer, you can rest soon" the policeman assured, sending a look of gratitude towards the boy.

Ranboo only smiled at the officer before focusing back on putting all his strength into keeping the building up. It didn't take long for construction workers to start surrounding him to help put supports in place. They had wood, steel bars and quick drying cememt to create the support so Ranboo could rest as soon as possible.

"On the count of three, you let go, ok?" A worker asked, looking up at the hybrid. Workers behind the man holding the support beam, ready to shift it into place.

"Alright..." Ranboo replied, getting ready to let go.

"One, two..... three!" Ranboo quickly let go and the support beam was shoved in his place. A bit of rumbling from the building caused the hybrid to hesitate but it quickly settled.

Ranboo sighed in relief and walked a small distance before falling onto the ground, arms and legs spread on the pavement. He smiled and let out an exasperated chuckle.

"Ranboo!" His ear flicked up and he sat up slightly before being engulfed in a hug by two pairs of arms. The enderman hybrid quickly returned the hug, although a lot gentler.

"Don't scare us like that!" The tall hybrid looked down, only to be met with Fundy and Niki. Fundys fox ears and tail brushing against Ranboos hands.

"Sorry..." Ranboo muttered, scratching the back of his neck nervously.

The rest of his friends quickly came over and all hugged Ranboo. The hybrid was surprised but quickly shook off his shock and hugged them all back.

"That was incredible! How'd you do that!?" A familiar voice yelled, turning out to belong to the one and only Wilbur soot.

"Two words: adrenaline and determination" Ranboo replied, a chuckle leaving his mouth.

"Well, whatever you did, you saved a lot of people, I'm probably most impressed by how you threw the building and saved another person, while putting your life on the line. Even I'm not going to be able to top that" Technos monotone voice uttered, placing a firm hand on the hybrids shoulder.

"Knowing you, you probably will be able to top that..." Ranboo muttered glancing at the pig hybrid, smiling slightly. At that moment, a police officer walked up to the group of friends, a note pad in hand.

"Who's name is 'Ranboo?' " The police officer, which Ranboo believed to be the chief of the police force, asked, scanning over the large group.

"That would be me" Ranboo replied, weakly shaking a hand above him while looking at the officer.

"Well Ranboo, you saved a lot of people today, you saved over a thousand lives as well as prevent mass destruction and loss of thousands of money for repair, so, as the chief of the police force, I would like to personally thank you for going above and beyond any other police officers line of duty and would like to ask if you are willing to accept a 10,000 reward in thanks from the mayor who has also requested me to tell you thank you for your services" the chief insisted, sending the tall hybrid a smile.

Ranboo sat there speechless at the mans words, his tail flicking around in excitement. "U-uh, I don't know what to say... yes, I will accept the reward I suppose" the hybrid smiled, sending a look of gratitude to the officer.

"Well then, we will send the money to your account. You are free to head home or you could stick around and get interviewed by the news if you wish to." The officer replied, sending another smile the hybrids way and gesturing to the different news stations pointing their cameras in the direction of the hybrid.

"I'm probably going to stay here with my friends for a while and just chat, and maybe get interviewed by one or two of the news station, but if you could, can you keep them away from me for a bit, I want to rest for a bit before getting bombarded with questions" Ranboo chuckled, looking at the police officer.

"Of course" the officer smiled lightly, talking into his radio and walking away, talking to a nearby officer about, what the hybrid could only assume to be about the situation.

"I guess I am an enderman aren't I?" Ranboo chuckled, looking at Wilbur.

"Yeah, came in handy and the facts were true" Wilbur replied, patting the boys head, being mindful of the little horns protruding from his head, a small chuckle leaving his lips.

Ranboo playfully battered away Wilburs hand and looked at the crowd surrounding the broken building, being kept away by the caution tape.

"Do you guys want to go to my house?" Ranboo asked, looking at his friends.

"If we can get to your house that is" Fundy muttered, looking at the crowd and news stations.

"Good point, I can't teleport us all home at the moment, I'm too tired and I dont want to deal with the news" Ranboo groaned, following Fundys gaze.

"Should we just surround you and act as guards? Or ask the police to escort us home?" Bad asked. Ranboo forgot Bad was here, he had been unusually quiet for the duration of this.

"I say we ask for a police escort but I'll allow myself to get interviewed by some news station, everyone in?" The enderman hybrid stated, looking for confirmation from his friends, everyone agreed.

And so, Ranboo stood up with the help of his friends and walked up to the police chief and asked if they could be escorted out of the crowd, to which he happily agreed. They made their way through the crowd and Ranboo stopped every once in a while to talk to news stations. He only stopped for a few minutes each time however because all Ranboo wanted to do was just get home.

By the time they got home it was about 3:00pm. Everyone settled down and Ranboo told them they could do anything but not mess up his house to which they agreed, although skeppy was a bit bummed.

Ranboo went to his room and got changed out of his clothes and put them in the wash as they had gotten dirty from the rubble. He put on a simple T-shirt and shorts and went to join his friends on the sofa. His friends made room for him and he sat down and almost melted into the soft sofa. He closed his eyes before he was nudged by Phil who sat next to him. Ranboo sent the older man a puzzled look to which he replied by nodding his head in the direction of the TV.

He looked and a clip of him throwing the building and getting the man was playing but it was quickly switched to when Ranboo was getting hugged by his friends. "That is just lovely to see" the news person stated, causing Ranboo to get slightly flustered at the comment. But that was nothing because the TV was then switched to a person who was there to witness him saving people. The person kept on saying how heroic his actions were and it only made Ranboo even more flustered.

The others noticed and giggled lightly before focusing back on the TV and eating the food that they raided from Ranboos cupboard.

Ranboo chuckled before laying his head back on the sofa and closing his heavy eyes, a smile crept it's way onto his lips and he quickly fell asleep, happy with his actions.
