-Prologue-
"If you keep eating so much chocolate you'll get sick Chara!" You nagged, stealing a piece from her.
She laughed and jabbed your side playfully. "You're not much better. You've been helping me through this for the past two hours."
You huffed. "I'm a big person! I can handle more sweets than you." You smirked.
Chara looked at you dully. "Ha ha, you wanna bet?! I bet I can eat twice as much chocolate as you in a minute."
"Oh yeah? I bet I can eat four times as much chocolate you in half the time."
"How much are we putting on this?" Chara grinned.
"I got twenty." You challenged, slapping it on the coffee table in front of you. "Bring it tweeny."
You'd made the nickname from a tiny and tween. Chara hates being called both so you invented the nickname out of pure evil.
"I'm thirteen in two weeks (Y/N)! What're you gonna call me then?" She smiled triumphantly.
"I'll call you teeny, duh." You shrugged, cramming more chocolate into your mouth.
Chara growled and put a ten dollar bill on the table. "Let's just pull the bet okay?" She said in a low tone.
You laughed at her short temper and pulled a pile of chocolate towards you.
"Okay Chara, on my count...
1...
Eat!"
You cut the count short to confuse her. As quick as lighting you crammed four Hershey kisses in your mouth, chewing quickly. Chara hesitated before stuffing her own mouth with chocolate. Fifteen seconds in you were leading. You had just shoved the last half of a chocolate bar in you mouth when Paps appeared on the scene.
He was wearing the usual black basketball short with a pristine orange hoodie. You waved mutely, mouth full. His eyes fell down to the table and he smiled, grabbing the thirty dollars.
"Sweet, I'm going to Muffet's." He teased, 'counting' the bills.
You tried yelling at him but failed miserably, only succeeding in dribbling chocolate down your chin. Putting on a pouting look, you glared at Paps. You flipped your favorite finger towards him and he chuckled.
"Oh, I'm sorry (Y/N), is this yours?" He teased, waving it in front of your face.
You snatched at it but he pulled it away. "Actually..." Chara beamed, brandishing her empty dish where her share of chocolate used to sit, "that's mine!"
You swallowed and released a grunt of protest. "Not fair! Paps distracted me!" You argued.
"Not my fault! I just got thirty bucks." Chara boasted, stuffing her small leather wallets with the bills.
You watched her putting it in her pocket, planning to steal the money back later. You stood to your full height and stretched. Your loose (F/C) tank top pulled up when you rose your arms but you didn't mind. You'd been sitting so long that your entire body was popping. You wiped your hands on your blue jeans and walked to the kitchen. Sans was rushing around in a pink apron preparing food.
"Hey Sans, what're ya making? Because if we're having pasta again I'll scream."
He looked at you and grinned. "WORRY NOT (Y/N)! TONIGHT I'VE PREPARED (F/F) JUST FOR YOU!"
You smiled and nudged him gratefully. "Thanks Sans."
"NO PROBLEM!" He grinned.
You rolled your eyes and returned to the living room. You watched as Paps closed the front door behind him and your gaze fell to Chara.
"Paps is going to his post in Waterfalls." She informed.
"Oh, alright." You chirped.
You and Chara sat peacefully on the couch watching Nabstablook on television. Sans called you into the kitchen and you walked in promptly. He held an array of dishes and you smiled, grabbing plates to serve on. You set up the table quickly and Chara grinned.
"Chara go wash your hands. We're gonna eat soon." You instructed.
"That's lame!" Chara complained.
"Deal with it! Go!" You said snappily, but still smiled.
Chara rolled her eyes and left for the bathroom. A few minutes later, a loud clatter accompanied a cry from the kitchen. You darted into the kitchen and surveyed the room, quickly finding the problem. "Blueberry!" You yelled.
You dear sweet friend was suspended from blue strings, struggling aggressively. "Please release the magnificent Sans! I've done nothing wrong!" He cried.
"dirtY gLitch..."
You gaze fell on the source and you sucked in a shirt breath. "Who the hell are you?!" You yelled, grabbing a knife from the counter.
The newcomer turned towards you and your entire body froze. The monster was like Sans, almost identical shape wise. He stood a bit taller. His eyes were an acidic mixture of red, blue and yellow rings. His bones were an ashy black and the word Error was both on his body and floating around him. He wore a black hoodie like Paps' over a blood red t-shirt. The blue strings curled around his fingers. Making the connections, you pointed the knife shakily at the intruder.
"Let. Blue. Go." You growled, silently cheering you didn't stutter.
"Don't hurt him!" Sans yelled, then yelped again.
Chara's small footsteps echoed from the floor above. "What's happening?" She yelled.
The black skeleton growled and a tear appeared midair. On the other side an endless expanse of white stretched. He stepped through, pulling Sans with him. You jumped at them as he started to close the rift, finally able to move fluently.
"Let Blueberry go!" You screamed, falling through the tear. You rolled back into a running position and bull rushed the skeleton.
Sans fell to the ground, the blue strings dissolving, but you still aimed to kill the intruder. You drove the knife at him. You grinned insanely. It'd been like that forever. Chara was always gentle and forgiving, especially when she first fell to the Underground. But when you feel down, you suffered from quite a few issues. Anger issues, short temper a hint of bloodlust from the spirit of Frisk. The usual.
The blade was inches away from his cranium when it stopped. Your brow furrowed as you attempted to drive the blade again, but your muscles no longer obeyed your will. The skeleton laughed and disappeared from under you. He now stood above you with Sans again hanging in a canopy of blue threads.
"S-StupID GiRl. i'M Error. D-diD You rEALLy t-think you'd win? N-now y-you're my n-new pup-puppet."
You eyes widened. "Let us go you asshole!" You yelled.
His image started to dissolve in the white along with Sans.
"Human!" Sans yelled, trying to reach you but being met with unimaginable pain.
"Let us go!" You screamed again, but when you next blinked you were met with only blank space.
You muscles unfroze and you collapsed on to the blank ground, the knife clattering uselessly. Your mind reeled as you processed the previous events. Minutes before, you were about to eat dinner. Now you're alone, in an endless void.
