"What are you listening to?"

Jeongguk's voice made Taehyung look up from his phone screen. Taehyung raised his gaze onto the boy standing beside him, a handsome smiled etched to his face as he looked down at the boy sitting under a tree.

It was a Thursday morning, four days after Taehyung's embarrassing situation regarding his heat. The sun shone brightly above them, swallowing up the coldness of the spring and basking them with warmth. Around Taehyung, the University grounds burst with life, students rushing back and forth to their classes.

Taehyung smiled as Jeongguk sat down on the bench next to him. Taehyung had been too enticed in his phone screen that he didn't even catch the alpha's scent as he approached when on other occasions the omega would know where Jeongguk was buildings away.

"Um...it's an old song. You wouldn't know" Taehyung said shyly.

"I might know," Jeongguk said and took one earbud out of Taehyung's ear and plugged it in his.

Taehyung looked at him with curious eyes. "Do you know it?"

Jeongguk listened to the song playing on the earbud, brows slightly furrowed in concentration. He had such a sharp jaw and a round nose that strangely reminded Taehyung of a bunny. Taehyung watched him, the way his face muscles flexed and his jaw stiffened as he took his bottom lip between his teeth, carefully listening to the song. Taehyung found it extremely attractive.

Jeongguk was really attractive. Taehyung just couldn't help the extreme attraction he felt towards the alpha.

"Isn't this Etta James?" Jeongguk asked, finally looking back at Taehyung.

"Yes!" Taehyung grinned. "Do you know the song?"

"As I remember, it's called 'at last', right?"

"Oh my god yes! You do know her!" Taehyung bounced up and down on his seat, giddy with happiness.

"Yeah I've heard a few songs of her"

"I didn't think anyone would know her from my age, you know? No one listens to classics these days"

"Do you like classic songs?"

"Yeah! A lot"

"Didn't you like Harry Styles too?"

"Yeah, I think his music is awesome! I have a lot of artists I love"

"Me too. What are your favorite genres?"

"Jazz and classic"

"Jazz? You have some exquisite taste, Kim Taehyung" Jeongguk said with a grin.

Taehyung giggled loudly.

"Your taste is as immaculate as you"

Taehyung made a disgusted face at Jeongguk, making him laugh. "I'm going to die from the sweetness"

Jeongguk laughed again, making Taehyung smile at him. "I don't usually tell people I like jazz and classic music because not a lot of people listen to it. I don't like most of those pop songs of these days"

"You like songs about romance?"

"Yeah! They're the best"

Jeongguk grinned. "You're adorable," He said. "Your taste in music makes you unique. You don't have to be ashamed to be yourself. You're beautiful inside out, I think"

Taehyung blushed scarlet. "Stop trying to seduce me, Jeon"

"If I wanted to seduce you I would've shown up shirtless in front of you"

"That would work too," Taehyung said with a playful grin.

"Okay then," Jeongguk said and started tugging his shirt from his trousers.

Taehyung gasped, his hands flying to Jeongguk's hands preventing him from continuing his actions. "Are you out of his mind? I was just kidding!"

Jeongguk smirked. "Do you want to do it in private then?"

"Jeongguk!"

Jeongguk shrugged. "Just asking"

"Shut up oh my god" Taehyung's cheeks burned a bright red.

"You're so pretty when you're embarrassed" Jeongguk whispered as he reached out to tuck a behind Taehyung's ear.

"You look like a tomato," Jeongguk said.

"You think tomatoes are pretty?"

"I don't know a Tom but I do think toes are pretty"

Taehyung groaned. "Why are you like this? You're weird"

"Thanks, Tae" Jeongguk smiled.

Taehyung shook his head. "Shut up and tell me what genres you like"

"I don't really have a preference. I listen to like every genre" Jeongguk said. "Anything I think is catchy, I guess. But I think most of my favorites are pop"

Taehyung nodded. "That's cool"

Jeongguk smiled. "Is our little photography date aka photography session still on?"

"I can go today if you can"

"Do you still want to go?"

"I want you to teach me, Mr. Jeon"

"Ooh kinky" Jeongguk grinned.

Taehyung laughed. "What time are your lectures over?"

"At three. You?"

"Two-thirty. I'll wait for you here?"

"Yeah, I'll come to pick you up. We should go to the other side of the lake to hang out. We would be able to see the sunset too"

"Yeah sure. Oh by the way! Didn't you say you have band practice on Thursdays?"

"I can postpone it to later at night. We will be at the lake at 3.30 p.m. so I can go afterwards"

"Is that okay?"

"Of course" Jeongguk smiled. "Anything for you"

"Pfft," Taehyung said with a smile. "What time does your class start?"

"At ten. You?"

"Ten. We can walk to class together"

"Yep. It's in like thirty minutes. Do you want to listen to music together?"

"Yeah! Play me your favorite song"

"Sure"

The trip after classes to the lake was short. With Taehyung's arms wrapped around Jeongguk's waist and his head on the alpha's shoulder, they drove to the lakeside. After arriving there, they were able to find a table and a bench for themselves, where the two of them took a seat.

Taehyung didn't have his camera with him since he didn't think they would have the session any time soon. However, Jeongguk had his camera so they agreed to learn from it. This time, they had stopped at a grocery store to buy some snacks and drunks so Jeongguk wouldn't have to leave Taehyung to go anywhere.

"You usually take photos from the auto mode right?" Jeongguk said, handing his camera to Taehyung.

"Yeah. I don't know how to go manual"

"Take a photo of the lake for me," Jeongguk said.

"Auto?"

"Yeah"

Taehyung nodded, taking the camera from Jeongguk. He turned it on and brought the camera to his eyes. He looked at the lake through the lens. He moved the camera to look for a good spot to capture and zoomed in and out to fit his taste. He pressed down the capture button to focus and finally taking the photo. He moved the camera away from his face to look at the picture he had just taken. Feeling satisfied with it, he gave the camera back for Jeongguk to see.

Jeongguk took it from him and looked down at it. "Wow," Jeongguk said, still looking at the screen of the camera.

"Does it look okay?"

"Okay? This is amazing! Seriously, Tae. It's so beautiful. With some editing, this would even be perfect for a contest"

"You're bluffing"

"I'm not, though. But we can improve this photo in some ways" Jeongguk said, bringing the camera to their front so they both can see the screen. "So you can..."

Jeongguk kept going, pointing out imperfections of the photo, and then went to explain each option of the manual mode. After one hour or so, Taehyung had taken a number of photos, trying out different settings Jeongguk had taught him. Taehyung listened attentively, trying to grasp every word the alpha was saying and etch it into his memory. It turned out Jeongguk was an amazing teacher.

"Got it?"

Taehyung nodded. "I'll have to change the shutter speed again"

"Yeah do that" Jeongguk said. They were standing by the lake now. Darkness had started to engulf their surroundings and in no time, the street lamps would be switched on. The sky was painted with light colors of orange and pink, mixed with blue.

"The sun will set soon," Jeongguk said.

"Yeah" Taehyung hummed as he clicked another photo. He felt Jeongguk move behind him, looking at the photo over Taehyung's shoulder.

"That's perfect" Taehyung could feel Jeongguk's smile without seeing it. "So much better than the last one," He said.

Taehyung giggled. "Yay"

"You're born for this. You caught up on everything so soon" Jeongguk said.

"Thanks. Without you, I wouldn't have been able to do it"

Jeongguk moved to stand next to Taehyung, making him look at the alpha. "Can I take some photos of you?"

"Me?" Taehyung asked, confused.

"Yeah"

"Yeah sure," Taehyung smiled.

"Awesome. Stay there" Jeongguk said and moved away from him. He made Taehyung pose a couple of times and took pictures from different angles, all of them with the lake and evening sky in the background.

"Now go sit on the bench," Jeongguk said.

Taehyung did. Jeongguk walked towards him and sat in front of him. "Smile" Jeongguk whispered.

Taehyung did, looking at the camera. The camera clicked a couple of times and behind it, Taehyung could see Jeongguk's smiling face. Taehyung's smile only grew at the sight.

Jeongguk finally pulled the camera off his face. He placed the camera in front of them and moved closer to Taehyung so they can both see the screen. Jeongguk started showing Taehyung the pictures.

Taehyung gasped. "Oh my god! These are so beautiful"

"Right? It's because you're beautiful"

"No, I mean the view. It's beautiful"

"You are the view, Tae"

Taehyung groaned. "Stop flirting. I'm just trying to admire your photography skills"

"It's the truth, though"

"Shut up. These pictures are beautiful. I can't believe this is me" Taehyung said, pointing at the close-up picture of hi face Jeongguk had taken.

"I can't understand why. You're the most beautiful boy I've seen in my whole life. Why can't you see it?"

"I'm not that pretty, Guk"

"You're the prettiest, cutest most amazing person I've ever met. You look like a god. Or an angel descended from heaven"

Taehyung rolled his eyes. "Enough. You're the one who looks like a Greek god with that body"

"But you haven't seen my body"

Taehyung blushed scarlet. "I...it's v-very obvious that you have a nice physique"

"Oh?" Jeongguk brought his face close to Taehyung's.

Taehyung gulped.

"Have you been imagining my body, tae?" Jeongguk whispered.

Taehyung's eyes widened. "O-of course not! W-what are you on about?" He stuttered.

"The spike in your scent says otherwise"

Taehyung gasped. "Shut up!"

Jeongguk laughed. "I could've shown it to you, Tae. All you had to do was ask. No need to imagine it"

"Oh shut up" Taehyung said

Jeongguk laughed. "Look at the sunset"

Taehyung turned his head to see the lake. The sun was half a ball of fire on the horizon of the lake that stretched as far as Taehyung's naked eye can see. The earlier light shades of colors had turned into vibrant shades and the sky looked majestic. Like an artist's finest artwork.

"It's so beautiful" Taehyung whispered.

"Isn't it?" Jeongguk smiled. Turning his head ever so slightly to look at Taehyung. "The sunset reminds me of you"

"Really? Why?"

"Because the sunset is colorful and bright. Also warm, I think. It's also beautiful. I could look at the sunset and admire the beauty of the sky with its unusual colors for hours if I could. Only if it lasted that long. Everything the sunset is, so are you. You're beautiful and bright. You're a warm person and I feel like you have many colors"

"Colors?"

"Yeah...like I feel like you're a colorful person. You know like...not a bland and uninteresting person. I feel that way because you're interesting to me. Like a lot"

Taehyung's cheeks hadn't stopped burning since the moment Jeongguk started comparing him to the sky. "Guk..."

Jeongguk smiled. "I don't understand why you can't see how beautiful you are, Tae"

Taehyung shook his head and looked back at the sky with a smile. "I like watching the sunset too"

"I've always wanted to watch it with you"

Taehyung's smile grew. "I feel like this is a date"

"It is to me"

"Then it is to me too"

Jeongguk grinned. "I feel happy. Are you happy, Tae?"

Taehyung looked at Jeongguk. "I am. Right now, I'm on top of the world"

"I'm even happier to hear that"

Taehyung grinned and looked back at the sky. The colorful canvas looked darker now. However, the setting sun still burned like a winter's fireplace. It was the battle cry to the gathering night that the only achievement of darkness is to show starlight all the more clearly.

A few minutes passed by, the two boys sitting in silence enjoying the sunset. Their shoulders were touching and their hands were close to each other on the table. Taehyung saw Jeongguk's hand shift closer to his with hesitation and the omega couldn't help smiling. Therefore he took the liberty of placing his hand atop Jeongguk's.

Jeongguk grinned at him silently as their fingers laced together perfectly, the alpha's warmth mingling with Taehyung's. He felt Jeongguk's thumb caress his knuckles, smoothing over the soft skin ever so tenderly. Both their eyes were fixated on the sunset before them. The way the dying sun painted the sky's canvas with vibrant colors looked miraculous to Taehyung.

A few minutes later Taehyung turned his head to look at Jeongguk, who still had his eyes steady on the sunset. His face was bathed in the last orange rays of the sun before darkness ushered in the stars. His lips resembled a smile, just enough to indicate that he was absorbed in his thoughts, whatever they may be. Taehyung moved closer to him so Jeongguk could feel his presence, but he remains silent, allowing Jeongguk to be immersed in the moment for a little longer.

Watching the alpha, Taehyung noticed his heartbeat pulse steadily but wildly in his chest. His cheeks burned hotter and his lips were growing dry. Because Jeongguk looked celestial basked in the rays of the dying sun. His sharp features looked sharper with the shadows cast on his face. His skin glowed golden. He looked breathtaking.

Jeongguk turned his head so their gazes locked together.

"What is it, my princess?"

Taehyung felt his face burn like a wildfire yet again by those words. Why was he so weak for nicknames?

Taehyung gulped and tried to gather his confidence. "I was admiring your beauty"

"Mine?"

Taehyung hummed. "You look breathtaking"

Jeongguk's smile grew. "Oh?"

Their faces were dangerously close yet again. So close that Taehyung could feel Jeongguk's breath fan against his cheek.

"Hmm"

"So do you, princess. Sunsets bring out the angel in you"

Taehyung grinned. "Just shut up"

Jeongguk moved his face closer to Taehyung's and the omega's heart skipped a beat or two. His stomach burst with butterflies and his eyes darted back and forth between Jeongguk's eyes and lips. Those perfect, plump, pink lips. So kissable.

"I want to kiss you so badly" Jeongguk spoke Taehyung's thoughts.

Taehyung gulped. Jeongguk was staring at the omega's lips and his scent had spiked up. It smelled so sweet that Taehyung could taste it in his tongue.

"Then kiss me"

The words were out of Taehyung's mouth in an instant. The words speaking nothing but the hidden truth.

"You sure you want it?" Jeongguk whispered.

"Right now, more than anything"

Jeongguk hummed. "Prove it"

Taehyung's eyes widened for a split second. His eyes darted between Jeongguk's lips and eyes. The omega's heart beat erratically in his chest and his brain felt like fuzz. He was about to go insane with need. He couldn't resist his inner omega anymore. So he did what he desperately wanted to.

Taehyung kissed Jeongguk.
