"Where is Taehyung?"

The short blond male who Jeongguk opened the door of Yoongi's apartment to pushed the alpha away as he marched into the house. Jeongguk watched the beta, Jimin, pass him by and walk around the house in search of Taehyung.

"Second room on the left" Jeongguk said after him and the beta turned around to walk towards the way the alpha told him to. Jeongguk watched as Jimin walked to the room and knock and Taehyung opened the room, letting him in before closing in again instantly.

Jeongguk turned around to see Yoongi standing outside the front door, scrunching his nose in distaste.

"Male omega pheromones really are stronger than female ones" Yoongi muttered.

"Yeah" Jeongguk said in a small voice.

"Did you guys do something?"

"What? No?" Jeongguk said, scratching the back of his head nervously.

Yoongi chuckled. "Did you forget I'm an alpha? I can smell your pheromones all over the place, mixed with his"

Jeongguk blushed at that. "Well...I jerked off"

"TMI dude"

"You literally asked if we fucked"

"Yes but still-"

"Oh fuck off"

Yoongi chuckled. "So are you staying here?"

"I don't know. I want to look after him. What if he needs me?"

"Pretty sure the only reason he would need you is for you to fuck him"

"Fuck off. I just feel the need to take care of him. I can't help it"

"Of course, you're his alpha," Yoongi said with a smirk.

"Not yet. Not like we mated or anything. Besides, we aren't even dating"

"Yeah, yeah whatever you say" Yoongi smirked. "I'm going to get going. We don't need two hot and bothered alphas here"

"He can stay here until he's better, right? It's okay, right?"

"Yeah I can stay at Namjoon's"

"Thank you, Hyung"

Yoongi flashed him a smile. With a quick goodbye, Yoongi was gone. Jeongguk walked towards the bedroom and stood outside the door, wondering what he should do. Inside, he could hear distinct mumbling. Voices belonging to both Jimin and Taehyung.

Jeongguk decided to keep his distance and let the best friends handle the situation. While he waited for either of them to come out, Jeongguk decided to make them all some dinner. So he made his way to the kitchen.

It took a few hours for Jimin to come out of the room. Alone. Jeongguk sat up from his seat on the sofa when he heard the door unlock. To his disappointment, he saw Jimin close the door behind him and only he stepped out.

"He just fell asleep"

"What did you do with him?" Jeongguk asked. He knew the two were just friends but he couldn't help but wonder what they were doing there for hours.

"Don't get funny ideas" Jimin said with a hint of annoyance in his voice. "It's the first time he's gone into heat like this. At least after his first ever heat"

"You mean he's been taking heat suppressants since he started getting heats?"

Jimin chewed on his bottom lip as he hesitated to answer Jeongguk's question.

"Please, man I'm just worried about him. He shouldn't be taking suppressants at all"

"Yeah I know. It's just his parents, man. He told you that he wasn't allowed to date anyone either, right?"

"Yeah"

Jimin sighed. "So yeah he's been taking pills since he started his heats"

"How could his parents do that to him?!" Jeongguk exclaimed. "What the actual fuck?"

"There's no use talking about him," Jimin said. "Taehyung won't be coming for dinner so you can leave if you want. I'll stay with him"

"I cooked dinner," Jeongguk said, making Jimin's eyes widen.

"Really?"

"Yeah. For all three of us"

"I'll take it to him if he wakes up. He should rest up"

"Yeah. You wanna eat?" Jeongguk asked.

Jimin nodded.

"I don't want to leave. I want to stay with him"

"He can still smell your scent. It could bother him"

"I can release calming pheromones for him. I can help"

"Did you help him earlier?"

"What do you mean?" Jeongguk's eyes widened in confusion. "Of course I did. I gave him my clothes and I-"

"No I mean, did you guys do anything?"

"No! Of course not. What do you take me for? I wouldn't take advantage of him like that"

Jimin shrugged. "I don't trust alphas"

"Understandable"

Jimin smiled at that. "I'm starving. What did you make?"

Jeongguk decided to sleep on the couch that night.

Yoongi's apartment only had two rooms and since Taehyung was in one, Jimin slept in the other room which Yoongi usually slept. Jimin insisted on staying the night and Jeongguk had no power to refuse since he himself wanted to stay too.

The next morning Jeongguk wore up to blinding morning light. He dragged his torso from the uncomfortable position he was sleeping in and sat up on the sofa. He moved his head from side to side only for a yelp to escape his lips when he felt a sharp pain shoot up his neck.

"Are you alright?"

Jeongguk jumped upon hearing the voice and turned his whole body to look at the direction of the origin of the voice. However, before his eyes confirmed it, he knew who the voice belonged to.

Jeongguk smiled upon seeing Taehyung sitting on the armchair next to the sofa.

"Hey," Jeongguk said, his voice groggily and rough from sleep. "Yeah, I am. Good morning"

"Good morning" Taehyung muttered. He was dressed in a pink sweater and sweatpants. "You slept on the sofa?"

"Yeah" Jeongguk smiled, stretching his limbs. "How are you feeling now? Is everything alright?"

"Yeah" Taehyung muttered. "I wasn't in heat when I woke up. The meds had taken effect last night"

Jeongguk nodded. "Are you feeling alright? Doesn't hurt anywhere, right?"

The omega shook his head. "No"

Jeongguk smiled. "I'm glad to hear that"

Taehyung fumbled with his fingers. "Jeongguk..." He mumbled.

"Yeah?"

"I'm sorry about yesterday," He said. A light blush covered the apples of his cheeks adorably.

"Huh? What are you sorry for? It was nothing!"

"I'm just embarrassed!" Taehyung whined. "And I caused you so much trouble"

Jeongguk chuckled. "There's nothing to be embarrassed about! It's only natural and I'm sorry because my pheromones triggered it"

Taehyung fumbled with his fingers. Jeongguk stood up from his spot and knelt before the armchair. Taehyung's eyes widened at the action. Jeongguk smiled at him and took both of Taehyung's hands in his.

"I like you a lot, Taehyung"

Jeongguk's blush deepened. "O-oh"

"I want to protect you and take care of you. It's definitely not just my alpha acting up"

"B-but the things I told you in the room. I'm so sorry" Taehyung visibly cringed, making Jeongguk chuckle.

"But nothing happened. I'm glad it was me with you in there than some other alpha"

"Yeah me too" Taehyung's voice was soft. "Thank you for not doing anything, even when I asked you to"

"Thought you wouldn't have wanted it. You weren't in your right mind and we aren't dating or anything"

"Yeah" Taehyung pouted. "I wanted it but I would've regretted it if anything happened"

"I understand" Jeongguk squeezed the omega's cold hands.

Taehyung smiled at him. "I appreciate everything you did, Jeongguk. I can't thank you enough"

"You don't need to thank me. I only did what I wanted for my omega"

Taehyung blushed a deep red at that. "Y-your omega?"

"I mean...you can be mine if you want to I can be yours"

Taehyung looked away from Jeongguk's saccharine sweet gaze with a smile. He cleared his throat as his eyes restlessly wandered around the room.

"I'll think about it"

"Wait what?"

"What!?"

"You would consider it?"

"Yeah, I guess" Taehyung muttered shyly.

"Fuck yeah! I can treat you like no one else had. Better than everyone"

"If I agreed, you would be the first"

"Okay, say what now? You haven't had any boyfriends before?"

"Nope"

Jeongguk's mouth hung open in surprise. "How the fuck....just how? How could anyone not want to be with you?!"

"I'm not that pretty and-"

"Bullshit. You're the prettiest omega in existence. The prettiest person"

"Oh shut up" Taehyung mumbled.

"I'm just stating facts"

"You're lying"

"I'm not, though" Jeongguk smiled.

Taehyung sighed, trying to hide the smile Jeongguk had caused. He looked away, trying to hide the obvious blush on his cheeks.

"Look at me," Jeongguk said and the omega obliged, his eyes trailing to meet Jeongguk's.

"Hmm?"

"I'll wait for you"

"Gguk..."

"You're worth waiting for"

"What do you even see in me?"

"You're a beautiful soul. I can't help being attracted to you. I want to get to know you more"

"Okay then, let's get to know each other more," Taehyung said.

"I desperately want to"

"I'll come to your gig on Friday"

Jeongguk's eyes lit up. "Really?"

"I told Jimin to back me up. He said he will and that he trusts you now, after what happened yesterday. So I can go"

"Oh my god! I'm so happy right now, Tae. You have no idea"

Taehyung smiled. "I really wanted to see if you were as hot as you claim to be"

"Oh, I am. I'll show you" Jeongguk smirked.

"Drop that smirk," Taehyung said. "Makes me want to slap it off your face"

"Or you can kiss it off"

"Shut up and go sit on the couch so I can give you a massage. Doesn't your neck hurt? Why did you sleep on the sofa? And in such an uncomfortable position? I saw you when I came out of the room sleeping like that...can't imagine how uncomfortable it might have been" Taehyung babbled.

Jeongguk couldn't stop the silly grin he had on his face. "You were worried?"

The question caught Taehyung off guard. The blush that seemed to have faded darkened again.

"W-what? Of course not"

Jeongguk laughed. "The most beautiful omega in the world was worried about me!"

"I said I wasn't!"

"Liar. You were worried about me and you were watching me in my sleep"

"Shut up"

"You're adorable"

"Go sit on the couch!" Taehyung whined.

"Tell me what your last name is. Let's be equal" Jeongguk said.

"Kim"

"Kim Taehyung"

"Yeah" Taehyung nodded.

Jeongguk nodded, a little lost in thought. "Kim..."

"What?"

"There aren't many Kims in this area, right?" Jeongguk asked.

"My father is a pack leader so it's only our relatives who are Kims in this area"

Jeongguk nodded, still lost in thought. Why did it feel like there was something he should remember about Kim?

Then it clicked.

"Hold up. So you're telling me you're Kim Taehyung and your father is the leader of the Kim Pack?"

"Yeah?"

"Holy shit"

'What?!"

"Wow, your father is a powerful dude. Isn't the Kim pack one of the oldest packs in Daegu and had been around for centuries?"

Taehyung nodded. "Well, yeah"

"And your dad is like super gangster?"

"Huh?"

"My dad told me he's really powerful and even controls people who aren't in packs. And is a gangster"

Taehyung shrugged. "Yeah he isn't really a good person but he's nice to me"

"The son of the Kim pack. Wow"

"What?! You're making this weird" Taehyung exclaimed.

"It is weird. Funny, more than weird"

"Why?" Taehyung questioned. 

"Because my father told me not to get on the local gangster's bad side. To not associate with them. Funny how I started developing feelings for the son of the leader"

Taehyung laughed. "Wow"

"I know right?"

"It's fine. We can keep it a secret" Taehyung whispered.

"Yeah?"

"Mhm"

"I'd love that"

"I know. Now go sit on the couch so I can give you a massage"

"How demanding. I love it"

"Are you secretly a bottom?"

"I can be anything you want me to be" Jeongguk winked.

"I thought all alphas were tops"

"Bullshit. Even I have bottomed before"

"Wow. I never thought....besides you're a true alpha. Aren't true alphas naturally dominant?"

"Yeah. But I can be anything my partner wants in bed"

"Yeah but I thought-"

"Babe who cares about sub-gender? No alpha needs to be masculine and dominant. They can be submissive and feminine too. Fuck what society says"

"I'm starting to like you more and more, Mr. Jeon Jeongguk"

"My true self is truly charming, milady"

Taehyung rolled his eyes.

"Wait" Jeongguk's eyes narrowed. "I never told you my last name"

Taehyung's eyes widened. "Huh? I'm sure you did..."

"Nope. Never did. And you didn't tell me yours either. Have you been stalking me? Are you secretly a serial killer?"

Taehyung punched Jeongguk lightly on the shoulder. "No!"

"Then?"

Taehyung shrugged, not meeting Jeongguk's eyes. "I may have done some digging on you"

"Oh fuck"

Taehyung giggled. "And I found out some stuff"

"Like my ex-boyfriends?"

"No, like what you tweeted on May 24th, 2019"

"What the fuck? What did I tweet?"

"You tweeted 'I'm fucking gay'"

"Oh yeah, my first ever hit tweet. So you are a stalker"

"Actually it was Jimin who did all the research and he told me everything. He's really protective of me, you see"

"Tell him to quit his job. I'm here to protect you now. You don't need him" Jeongguk pouted.

"Oh shut up"

"Talking about Jimin, where is he?"

"Oh, he left for class. He helped me clean up the room and headed to class"

"Class?" Jeongguk asked. "Oh fuck! I forgot that today's a weekday"

"Oh you should leave, then. When do your classes start?"

"Nine. It's eleven now"

"If you leave now-"

"I'm skipping the lectures. Besides, there's only two today. What about you?"

"I wasn't going to go. Need to take some more rest"

"Then I'll stay with you"

"Okay," Taehyung said, smiling. "Now go sit on the couch. Not going to tell you again"

"Will you order me around in bed too?"

"I will literally hit you"

"What makes you think I won't like it?"

"Jeongguk!"

After Jeongguk took a shower, he made Taehyung a breakfast, which turned out to be a brunch since it was already noon by the time they started eating. Afterward, Taehyung decided to stay with Jeongguk in Yoongi's apartment.

Therefore, after much debating, they decided to watch a movie together. It took them around fifteen minutes to decide on what movie they were going to watch.

"I don't like avengers!"

"How can you not like avengers?!" Jeongguk exclaimed in disbelief.

"I don't know! I only like spiderman. Is spider man an avenger?"

"No, it's DC"

"Uh huh"

"No silly he's an avenger!"

"What? You just said he's DC!"

"That was sarcasm! How can anyone not know the difference between Marvel and DC?"

"What's marvel?" Taehyung asked, visibly confused.

Jeongguk groaned in frustration. "Oh my god"

However, his frustration was short-lived since the moment he saw Taehyung's pouting face, Jeongguk's frustration disappeared.

He let out a sigh. "Okay so like Captain America, Hulk, Spider-Man, Black widow are in Marvel and Super Man, Batman and Wonder Woman are in DC. They have so much more superheroes but you might not know a lot of them"

"Oh right. Yeah, I don't know much about that stuff. I'm more of an anime fan"

"A weeb? Interesting"

"Do you watch anime?"

"Yeah but not that constantly"

"What's your favorite?"

"Banana fish. You?"

"Yuri on Ice" Taehyung said with a grin. "Banana fish is amazing too"

"I haven't watched it. Want to watch it together?"

"Yes! I'd love to!" Taehyung exclaimed. "Let's watch it now"

"Now? Alright," Jeongguk said, handing over the remote to Taehyung. The omega excitedly took it and started browsing in search for it. Jeongguk watched the adorable omega with a soft smile decorating his hips. Taehyung was grinning with excitement, puppy-like eyes focused on the TV screen in front of them.

When Taehyung finally chose the anime, he jumped excitedly up and down on the soft cushion of the sofa. Jeongguk wasn't the biggest anime fan but he wanted to watch it with Taehyung.

It turned out to be worth it because after around fifteen minutes Taehyung shifted closer to Jeongguk and placed his head on the alpha's shoulder.

From time to time, Taehyung blabbered excitedly about the anime playing, explaining some parts to him and constantly asking him 'did you get that?', to which Jeongguk could only smile and listen or nod his head.

It turned out to be worth it, since Taehyung fell asleep three episodes later on Jeongguk's shoulder, with his arm wrapped around the alpha's arm. The whole time, Jeongguk couldn't help smiling from happiness nor could he stop looking at the adorable boy asleep on his shoulder from time to time.

He ended up looking more at Taehyung than at the anime playing on the screen before him. Heart giddy with happiness, Jeongguk let out a sigh.

Kim Taehyung was going to be the death of Jeon Jeongguk.
