Jeongguk's voice rang through the massive space of the club like silver bells, making Taehyung's skin tingle with joy. There were tears in his eyes and since the moment Jeongguk started singing, he hadn't been able to stop smiling.

Taehyung had a vague memory of telling Jeongguk that Watermelon Sugar is one of his favorite songs and he would listen to it at least once a day because he loved it so much. Taehyung hadn't expected Jeongguk to remember such a small, irrelevant detail about his everyday life. However, Jeongguk had more than just remembered it.

He had decided to play the song as their first song that day on stage.

Taehyung couldn't believe it. He was overflowing with happiness and joy. This was the first time he was hearing Jeongguk sing and he had desperately wanted to listen to him sing. However, he never in a million years think that Jeongguk would be singing this very song. The song Taehyung remembered blabbering a lot about to Jeongguk passionately.

It felt special, for some reason.

And Taehyung knew it was; because Jeongguk kept stealing glances at Taehyung's direction, flashing him a small smile or a smirk mid-verse.

He sang like a nightingale, Taehyung thought. Like a dream. His voice was crystal clear and Taehyung was sure that he would kill it even without the music.

However, what Taehyung found the most attractive was how he moved on stage. After every verse, he did a little spin and moved across the stage, mic in hand. He did a few dance moves making the crowd go crazy and cheer for him like no tomorrow. Taehyung could see the way a bunch of girls had crowded up at the foot of the stage, cheering loudly and dancing, smiling at Jeongguk like they wanted him in their bed. Everybody was looking at him.

But he's looking at Taehyung.

Taehyung felt his heart skip a few beats every time their eyes met. Jeongguk made sure to look at him across the crowd all the time even though Taehyung was at the end of the crowd, by the tables.

The other three, Namjoon, Jin, and Yoongi played instruments. Yoongi looked like he was on fire, the way he played the drums and Namjoon played the keyboard. Jin, the backup vocalist, and the guitarist seemed to be enjoying himself so much that he made sure to send flying kisses to the crowd, making them erupt to a wave of screams and cheers.

After they finished with Watermelon Sugar, they played three more dance songs which Taehyung was not very familiar with. However, he still managed to jump around and cheer for Jeongguk and others while they poured their soul on the stage.

All four of them were born to perform. They seemed to be on their true form on stage and that was so fucking attractive.

After around twenty minutes, they got off the stage with one last bow. The crowd's cheers and screams were deafening. Taehyung joined in. He wanted to cheer for his alpha and his friends.

Jimin and Hoseok, who were dancing non-stop for the whole twenty minutes had slouched down on their chairs and chatted among each other, a glass with a liquid of choice in their hands. Taehyung joined them, taking a bottle of beer and chugged it down.

He had never been the biggest drinker. But that didn't mean he couldn't. His parents were against it, of course. His mother thinks that omegas shouldn't drink and his dad was scared of what he might do when he's drunk. Like recklessly hook up with an alpha and lose his virginity.

However, in rare occasions like this when Jimin managed to sneak Taehyung out to have some fun, Taehyung made sure to drink as much as his heart pleases. All he wanted was to enjoy his college days like other people of his age.

After what felt like minutes, he saw Jeongguk running towards them. Taehyung felt himself stand up in an instant, a smile stretching his lips upwards. The moment Taehyung was in Jeongguk's hand's reach, he pulled the omega towards himself and wrapped his arms around him.

Taehyung hugged back, grinning from ear to ear. "Oh my god you did amazing! I felt like I was in a concert!" Taehyung exclaimed as Jeongguk pulled away with a smile.

"Did I look hot?" Jeongguk's voice was playful.

"Fuck yes" Taehyung said. He couldn't contain the excitement. "You looked so fucking hot and attractive and...oh my god" Taehyung didn't even have the words.

Jeongguk laughed. "I did?"

"Yes! A-and you sing so beautifully! I never knew that you were this good like...why didn't you tell me sooner? I want to hear more"

"I will sing to you as much as you want, baby"

Taehyung grinned. "Yay!" He said. "And you sand Watermelon Sugar! You remembered?!"

"Of course, baby. How could I not? I wanted to sing it to you because you told me you loved it so much"

"I didn't think you'd remember. It was quite some time ago. Like last month" Taehyung pouted.

"Whatever you tell me is important to me. I will always remember" Jeongguk smiled.

"Gosh, you're too sweet" Taehyung said, punching Jeongguk lightly on the chest earning a chuckle from him. "I do believe you by the way"

"Hmm?"

"I didn't believe when you said you looked sexy and hot on stage. Now I do" Taehyung said. "You looked so fine. Scrumpt-deli-ious"

Jeongguk laughed. "I did?"

"Yeah!"

"Don't you think I should get a little treat if I looked that fine?"

Taehyung's eyes widened. "L-like what?"

Jeongguk shrugged. "I don't know"

Taehyung smirked. "Like this?" He said and leaned in. He pressed his lips onto Jeongguk and he felt the alpha respond immediately, his hand flying to hold the omega's hips. Taehyung pressed a little more, tongue coming to poke the other boy's lips, which opened with the contact, giving Taehyung permission to push his tongue inside.

Taehyung felt Jeongguk's hand on the back of his head now. The alpha's tongue pressed against Taehyung's own and the next thing he knew, Jeongguk was pulling away only to start kissing Taehyung from another angle. Taehyung sucked in a breath at the action but let the alpha do as he pleases; kiss him like he'd been starving for ages.

When Jeongguk finally pulled away, it took Taehyung a few more moments to recover from it and open his eyes. His whole mind felt like fuzz. When he finally opened his eyes, he saw Jeongguk smiling at him widely.

"Yeah, something just like that" Jeongguk said.

Taehyung grinned at him dreamily.

"Want to dance with me?" Jeongguk asked, wrapping his arm around Taehyung.

"Sure," Taehyung said gleefully.

"Let's go, then"

Taehyung squealed as he felt Jeongguk's arms hands rested on either side of him, his back pressed against the alpha's front as they danced. Jeongguk chuckled darkly behind him, moving Taehyung's hips with his hands to the beat. Taehyung giggled and moved his body along with Jeongguk. The two of them were in the middle of the dance floor.

Taehyung could see Jin, Namjoon, Yoongi, Hoseok, and Jimin a few feet away from them, dancing and laughing with bottles and glasses in their hands. All of them looked tipsy but they were having fun. All seven of them had been dancing for more than twenty minutes now and Taehyung had gulped down three more bottles of beer in the meantime.

"Can I have more beer?" Taehyung asked, turning around to face Jeongguk.

"Baby you're drunk already," Jeongguk said. "That's enough for tonight"

"But you're taking me home" Taehyung pouted. Jeongguk wasn't drunk, it seemed. Taehyung didn't see him take a single sip of alcohol after he joined Taehyung on the dance floor.

"Yes but you still shouldn't baby"

"Come on, Gukkie" Taehyung's words were slurred. "One more beer?"

Jeongguk sighed. "You shouldn't. You're drunk already"

"Don't be a party pooper, Ggukkie" Taehyung said, still pouting. "One more? I know you will take care of me. You aren't even drunk. You'll take me home safely"

"But Tae-"

"It's not every day I get to get drunk. It's hardly ever" Taehyung said, clinging onto Jeongguk. "Please?"

Jeongguk let out an exasperated sigh. "Fine" He gave up at last. "One more, and I'm taking you home"

Taehyung giggled cutely. "Okay!"

"I'll bring you one. Stay right here. Go to Jimin. Stay close to him" Jeongguk said pointing at the others few feet away.

"I'll be fine" Taehyung said but Jeongguk pushed him a little, making him walk towards Jimin's direction.

"Stay right here"

"I will, alpha"

Jeongguk shot him a look and disappeared into the crowd. Taehyung smiled and turned back around and started moving his body to the beat again. He swayed his body, hips moving and hands in the air. The loud music was electric and it felt as if his body was being controlled by that electricity. He couldn't stop. He didn't want to. Everything felt so heightened but his mind felt blurred because of the alcohol and he couldn't help the smile that stretched his lips upwards and he swayed his body.

Not three minutes passed since Jeongguk's departure for Taehyung to feel an arm sneak around his waist.

Drunkenly, Taehyung giggled. Jeongguk was here already?

"Omega"

Taehyung froze. His smile disappeared and even in his drunken daze, he could feel the fear and worry take over his whole body. Because that voice wasn't Jeongguk's. The arms around his waist were tight and grounding.

His hands flew to his waist and tried to get rid of the man's; the alpha's hands off of him. But they didn't budge. The man squeezed his waist tighter when Taehyung tried to push him away.

Panicked, Taehyung looked around him. He turned his head towards the direction where Jimin and the others were a few minutes ago, only to see that they were nowhere to be found. Had Taehyung wandered drunkenly away from them? Had they exited the dance floor?

"Don't be scared, little omega" The man spoke again. His voice was rough and Taehyung wasted nothing more than to turn around and kick the man's balls. However, the hands around him prevented him from moving his body.

"Where's your alpha? You smell like an alpha"

Taehyung screamed. "Let me go!" He started thrashing around.

The man's fingers sank into Taehyung's hips. His shirt had ridden up now from all the thrashing and the man's hands were on his naked skin now. Taehyung could feel tears brimming his eyes.

"Your protector isn't here, I see. And you aren't marked. So you can be a whore, right? Like the typical omega. I'll fuck that alpha scent off of you"

"Let me go!" Taehyung screamed again but his voice was drowned by the loud music.

"I'll show you your place," The man said and he took hold of Taehyung's neck. The omega's eyes widened with fear when he felt the man's lips on his neck. He knew the man was going to leave his mark on him.

However, the next thing Taehyung knew, he no longer felt the man's face close to him. His hands slid off of Taehyung's body and in an instant, he turned around, only to see Jeongguk grabbing the man by his collar.

"You son of a bitch!" He shouted. "You dare touch my omega?!"

Taehyung gasped as Jeongguk punched the man across his face, making him lose balance and stumble to the floor when Jeongguk let him go. The man bared his canines at him and Jeongguk bared him, his eyes shining with hatred and dominance.

"You piece of shit," Jeongguk said and punched the man on the floor again. This time, the man fell back with a bleeding nose. Jeongguk got on top of him and shattered beating the shit out of him.

Taehyung watched in horror; frozen. He couldn't move a single muscle from fear and shock.

Taehyung saw that the man was no longer conscious and Jeongguk continued landing punches. Only then did Taehyung finally recover from his shock and scream "Jeongguk!" He ran towards him and tried to push him off the man.

Jeongguk, that's enough! He passed out. Jeongguk-" Taehyung halted his sentence when Jeongguk turned his head to look at him with a murderous glare. Taehyung felt himself freeze and widen his eyes because he had never seen Jeongguk look so scary. His canines were out and his eyes gleamed with hatred.

"Jeongguk" Taehyung whispered. A tear started rolling down his cheek and the moment Jeongguk saw it, his expression relaxed. His canines sank back and his eyes turned normal.

"Tae," Jeongguk said. He got off the man and stood up. He wrapped his arms around Taehyung.

Taehyung sobbed. Jeongguk started running his hands over Taehyung's back in order to comfort him. "Oh god, I'm so sorry. Are you okay?"

Taehyung shook his head. "Y-yeah. I'm fine. B-but-"

"Baby" Jeongguk whispered and leaned away. He looked Taehyung up and down. "Did he hurt you? What did he do to you?"

"J-just touched my waist" Taehyung hiccupped. He looked around them and saw a few people looking at them while the rest of the crowd still drunkenly danced.

Jeongguk's eyes glinted murderously again. "I'm going to fucking kill him"

"N-no don't," Taehyung took hold of Jeongguk's hand. "P-please I'm so scared"

"Oh, my baby" Jeongguk said and wrapped his arms around Taehyung again. "Fuck, I shouldn't have left you"

Taehyung felt himself calm down a little under Jeongguk's embrace but he saw the man on the floor stir awake. Sensing Taehyung's change of scent- from the sweet scent to a bitter, feared one, turned around to look at the man.

The man slowly opened his eyes and his eyes widened when he saw Jeongguk. Jeongguk bared his canines at the man again, making him widen his eyes and hop on to his feet and stumble away from them towards the exit.

"I should've killed him"

"Are you insane?!" Taehyung exclaimed. "What if he calls the cops on you?!"

"He tried to touch you!"

"But you beat him until he passed out!"

Jeongguk huffed out angrily. "Let's get out of here," He said and took Taehyung's hand, dragging him away from the crowd. They took the staff exit and walked into the parking lot.

Taehyung walked with Jeongguk towards the alpha's motorbike. "Sit down"

Taehyung nodded and sat down on the seat. The air was so much fresher and it didn't smell like sweat, alcohol, and sex. The air was clean and cold. Taehyung took a deep breath and filled his lungs.

"I shouldn't have left you", Jeongguk said begrudgingly. "I should've known this would happen. There are drunk alphas everywhere at this time"

"It's not your fault. I told you to get me more drinks" Taehyung whispered.

Jeongguk let out an exasperated sigh. "Are you sober now?"

"Kinda" Taehyung muttered. He still felt a little tipsy. He couldn't walk straight, at least.

"Are you okay, my baby? How do you feel?"

"Just anxious" Taehyung gulped. "I'm okay. He only tried to t-touch me a-and-"Taehyung felt himself let out another sob.

"Oh baby, come here," Jeongguk said and pulled Taehyung into another embrace. Taehyung sobbed into Jeongguk's shoulder, hiding his face on the crook of his neck. Jeongguk caressed his back in slow, soft strokes and released calming pheromones. Soon, Taehyung's sobbing stopped, engulfed by Jeongguk's pheromones that had the omega feel like he's breathing a fresh breeze on a sunny day. It smelled like vanilla in a freshly baked cake.

Taehyung took a deep inhale and his senses flooded with Jeongguk's scent. He felt his worries and sadness fade away, his anxiety becoming nothing but a dull ache before disappearing. He felt every one of his senses calm down until all he could think of Jeongguk.

"Thank you" Taehyung whispered.

"You're my omega, my baby. I don't want any harm coming to you" Jeongguk whispered. He caressed Taehyung's head lovingly.

Taehyung hummed against Jeongguk's neck. All of a sudden, he was starting to feel drowsy. His eyelids felt heavy and he wanted to lay down somewhere and close his eyes.

"Mhm sleepy" Taehyung whispered.

"Yeah? Let's get you home"

"Your place?"

"Are you okay with spending the night with me?"

Taehyung nodded. "Yeah. Please take me there"

"Okay baby, let's go. I'll take care of you"
