"I can't believe its been a week," I tell Anne. "What are we supposed to do?"
"It's pretty clear Elena knew too much. How could she not? She was in the house with Zayn all the time, she was bound to find something."
We hadn't seen each other since the forest. We had met up at her place this time, which was fortunately out of town. All the solutions we tried to think of were no good.
I sip my whiskey slow. "I don't know what else to do. It wont hold any weight. They'll just pay to make it go away."
"Yeah, you're right," she says sadly, "Harry, do you think she's okay?"
I sigh, looking down at the floor. "I sure hope so."

I walked around town hoping to run into Zayn again. It was increasingly hard to talk to him, he was a bigger piece of shit than I imagined. There wasn't a lot I could do to distract myself from thinking about that night.
The last few days had been really difficult. I got the eerie feeling that there was something I was not seeing, like the big picture was so obvious but not to me. There had to be something I could go off, something that would help me find Elena and bring her back.
I sat on a bench nearby and just looked up. It was very gray and cloudy, like the sunlight refused to come out. The town had recently been put on curfew, everyone afraid that their young daughters would be kidnapped. The moment that came into the equation, everybody was interested in catching the person responsible.
I just wanted to find her. Everyday the possibility of her not being alive grew.
There had to be someone else who saw something, anything. How is it possible that so many people were at that party, yet only a handful of them have been questioned?
