Where I've been ...

Well let's see, I've been lots of places. Some of them really not so exciting, some of them odd and out of the way (and still not exciting), and some rather interesting. Perhaps to me, though not to others.

North Platte Nebraska. Rather boring I must say. Not much there to see. But my parents dragged us there beacuse they had friends living there. Ug, you've all had trips like that I dare say. Am I right? I remember people wearing shirts that said, "North Platte, it's not the end of the world, but you can see it from here" or something like that. Seriously if that's the best catch phrase your town can come up with, you're doomed as a tourist attraction.

Babyland General Hospital, Cleaveland GA. If you know what this is, I commend you for being a font of totally useless information! This is, of course, the birthplace of the original Cabbage Patch Dolls. The ones with the soft faces, not the stupid plastic ones everyone went bonkers for in the 80's. Yes, seriously, we drove there and visited the place. Another place my parents dragged us off to for a family vacation. (my parents were seriously insane. Do you see a trend here?)

Niagra Falls. Ok, so this one is actually a good one. If you have a chance GO SEE IT! Cause it's kinda neat to see. Even though it is seriously just a giant waterfall. It is spectacular in person.

The Grand Canyon. I know what you're all thinking. "It's a freaking giant hole in the ground, who wants to see that?" Again, GO SEE IT! It's one of those things you can't explain, you have to stand there and witness it in person. It's awe-inspiring.

Alcatraz  It was very cool to see it. I wish you could walk through the entire thing, but ya can't.

Winchester Mystery House because, ghosts. The house itself is interesting, but like all tourist attractions, you can't walk around the entire thing, which makes me sad. I understand why, but it would be awesome to see the entire house.

I've been to several caves, but I seriously can't remember the names of them all. Some were places my parents dragged us to when we were kids. Some I've been to with my own family. Caves are pretty awesome, but you never want to go into those alone. Pretty scary, that.

And theme parks TONS of those. Been to both Disney Land and Disney World in my time. And we've gone to a bunch of the Six Flags parks, as well as Knott's Berry Farm.

Was in Washinton D.C. when I was in 8th grade and seriously was a stupid kid and didn't pay much attention to anything. It was an 8th grade school trip and all I wanted to do was have fun with my friends. I'd love to go back now and see everything again now that I actually care to learn the stuff. I'd especially love to go to the Smithsonian.

I'm sure there are a ton of other places that I'm forgetting about since my parents used to drag us somewhere every year.
