Just a small bit of advice for those of you who want to start your own business, either editing, beta reading, graphics ... I don't care what it is ... the key word is professional.

Do not inbox me with your general wattpad icon, you immediately look shady af to me.  Make (or have someone make it for you) an icon. Even better, a logo you can use as your icon or on a profile header.

Tailor your profile to what it is you're trying to do. Set up your about me to explain what it is you're doing, maybe list your experience. (Kinda like a resume) if you're offering me a service I don't care about your six cats or the bands you like. I want to know what you do and what experience you have. 

Post a book that describes the services you're going to provide. If you're editing, post examples of your editing in the book if possible.  Same with book reviews. I want to know you have a clue of what you're doing.  You could even use one of those free sites to make a website to post things on. 

Just be professional or I will (probably others too) immediately delete the message because it appears to be a scam.
