I'm not responsible for your responsibility

I'd like to know exactly when the world decided everyone needed to be babysat? It isn't my responsibility to chase you around and remind you that you ordered a flipping graphic from me!

Don't whine because you forgot to come back and pick the damn thing up! It's clearly stated in the rules you have a certain number of days to return to pick up your graphic.

Listen people, in the REAL world there are rules that need to be followed, get used to it now. If you order something they aren't going to baby you and follow you about like a small child until you pick it up. If you drop your clothes off at the dry cleaner and you don't return to get them, guess what? Eventually they'll get rid of them. They don't care!

You don't show up for work, the boss isn't going to care about your excuses unless you were hit by a Mac truck on the way in. No, you'll probably get fired. STOP YOUR WHINING AND GROW THE HELL UP! You're going to be adults soon, get used to it! I'm not your momma! There are rules FOR A REASON!

This goes for designers in groups too. There are rules created by the owners for a reason. So there isn't chaos. Follow them so we can coexist and the customers are happy. That means, oh you know, don't disappear and wonder why everyone is pissed at you when you magically reappear acting like nothing happened. Oh and wonder why no one assigned any requests to you. Um, you weren't answering and no one could get a hold of you, so DUH we weren't going to assign anyone to you. Then don't quit in a hissy fit because you didn't get any requests.

Also, if you are overwhelmed or just aren't feeling the thread theme any longer, just say it. Don't quit and give some lame excuse about someone being sick and you can't handle things, because a lot of us are active on the MDC and seriously we SEE THINGS. Like your four other threads you're still active in and it chaffs us when you quit our thread saying your mom is sick and you can't stay but you're still active in other threads or start another thread of your own. Honesty is the best policy, your grandma was right folks.

So, responsibility is the word of the day. I think there's been a serious lack of it around lately. Start learning it and you'll be better off for it. Just my little observation.

*** and since I've written this it's only gotten worse. We seem to have an influx of users who shouldn't be here in the first place. I see a lot of users posting their ages and many are 10, 11, 12 (some younger) Wattpad's rules state you must be 13 to join. Most are too immature to handle any sort of responsibility. They get pissy if you inform them they've done something wrong and they attack and belittle you as if you're the one who made the mistake. I'm too old to have small children telling me things I've known for longer than they've been alive.
