I hate animals so much they destroy everything

My cat scratched the door frame up and now I have to paint it and my door, which isn't That bad.

But get this

This coming weekend we're going out of town,so I can't do it. The next weekend I'm being forced to have a Halloween party. So that day, while I'm frantically trying to set up for this party that I don't want (I freaking hate parties so much) I also have to sand my door to get rid of the scratches, take all of my posters and track numbers off of it, paint it, hope that it dries in time to put the stuff back on, and SET UP FOR THIS PARTY all in the same day.

Most of the stuff on my door is like decals so if I take it off it'll get ruined. The posters will roll up (like posters tend to do) and then they'll get ripped when I try to unroll them because the tape will get stuck. I don't see why I have to sand the door it's not even that bad and it's not even my cat that's doing it because he scratches up my couch.
