Writing Prompts: Camp
Writing prompts based on things I've heard/said during the camps I've worked at this summer. Feel free to use!
"Wait a minute, am I the adult right now? Are we sure we want me to be our adult?"
"No break-dancing during snack break. You might choke."
"I've been here for nine hours. I haven't eaten a thing."
"Gosh, you're in my personal bubble. Get out of my space before someone who's not me gets hurt."
"I've been doing this dance the exact same way every time. You're just seeing things."
"Great, now you got the children doing it too!"
"It's only been three minutes and I'm already filled with regret."
"It's supposed to look like a fake. That's the point."
"You get back behind that castle or so help me-"
"Children liking me is both a blessing and a curse."
"Aren't you a lot too old for me to have to help you with this?"
"Whenever they seem to be losing steam, I just declare a boys verses girls competition. That always gets them perked up and eager to do whatever I say in order to destroy the other team."
"Did everyone just leave me alone with these rugrats- I mean precious children?"
"Okay, you have to be there to open the door when I charge at it. I don't want to run into another door again today."
"I have a foam sword and I am not afraid to use it!"
"How extra is too extra?"
"I'd give him three minutes tops before he starts blushing."
"She thinks I look like I'm in college but he says that I look twelve. My body needs to make me look my actual age please."
"Okay kids, on the count of three, run up to him and dump this ice water on him."
"I love it when the doors I need to get through are unlocked."
"I'd hate to see what her mirror at home is like."
