Okay may I just say AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I finally got to go see the new Wonder Woman movie yesterday with my family and a few friends and may I just say that I am in love with this film? Because I totally am.

For those of you who didn't know, I am a huge combat choreography nerd. I love fight scenes (as long as they're not too graphic), and I especially enjoy getting to participate in them, whether it's as one of the people fighting or helping stage it. The fight scenes in Wonder Woman were amazing. There were some slow-mo shots during different battles that were absolutely stunning, especially the ones with the Amazons on their horses.

My favorite fight scene was what I'm going to refer to as the No-Man's Land scene. The screen direction, the slow-mo, literally everything? Breathtaking. It was my favorite scene, hands down.

And Gal Gadot was adorable. She went from taking on armies single-handedly to gushing over an adorable baby and telling a stranger that he should be proud for his delicious creation (ice cream) within a few minutes. Also, she was pregnant while filming for the movie. Someone please give this woman an award.

There were a few times when I got a little uncomfortable though. There's a scene when Diana goes to talk to the male lead, Steve, where she walks in on him taking a bath. Although his private areas weren't shown, I still shielded my eyes during that scene. I don't do that kind of stuff. Along with that, they were a few subtle jokes referring to his private areas, although I didn't even get some of them until a few hours after seeing the movie. (I am slow and do not get most dirty jokes, thank goodness.) Also, there is a boat scene where Diana and Steve awkwardly talk about Diana's knowledge of human procreation and recreation. There's a point where I got nervous later on in the film when Steve and Diana were in a bedroom together, although nothing besides a short kiss is shown. There's also a little language.

All in all, this was one of the best superhero movies I've seen in a long time. Everything was absolutely gorgeous, and I may or may not have cried a lot. I get it if superhero and action movies aren't your thing, but this film is definitely worth seeing.
