Friends, I am becoming more and more convinced that I am cursed.

We have several vending machines at my school, which we'll stop by during breaks and lunch to grab some snacks or drinks. Over the last year, whenever a friend of mine has asked me to grab them something from the vending machines when I'm able to head there to get something for myself, their food has always gotten stuck midfall. So I'll come back with my food but no food nor refund for the friend.

No matter what I do, this seems to happen consistently. I tried getting their snack before I got mine, so that mine could hopefully knock the other down if it got stuck. My snack dropped down past the other person's captive food. If my friend wants the same as I'm getting, the second snack will get stuck, and I'll give it to the other person because I would feel bad if I kept it. It never falls down when I shake the vending machine, or when I get other to shake it. It just always. Gets. Stuck. I have a vending machine curse that forbids me from ever getting food for my friends from those blasted machines.

And I feel really bad about it because I'm wasting my friends' money on something that gets stuck and remains there until it magically disappears at the final bell. So how do I even break this curse? Do I need to kiss a prince? Fight a dragon? Overthrow an evil monarch? Go on some epic quest and retrieve a mystical item of legends? And how did I even get cursed in the first place? Did I anger some witch without realizing it? Did an evil fairy curse me at my birth and my parents just haven't told me? Did I not forward stupid chain mail? Because jeez, the curse sucks.
