Tangled: The Series

Tangled: The Series is one of the newer Disney animated series, and it's seriously underrated. Despite the main mysterious plot being a bit slow so far, there's a lot of good things to praise it for! It stays true to the characters we know and love from the original movie, has a super cute art style, has character development and backstories for characters old and new alike, and has new music by the Alan Menken.

ALAN MENKEN. ALAN MENKEN, GUYS.

Also, in addition to the fabulous Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi returning to their beloved roles of Rapunzel and Eugene, you want to know who else is on the show?

Jeremy Jordan AKA Jack in Newsies as the adorkable recurring character Varian

James Monroe Iglehart AKA the Tony Award-winning Genie from Aladdin on Broadway as Lance Strongbow, Eugene's charming childhood friend and former partner-in-crime

Eden Espinosa, a former and highly esteemed Elphaba, as one of the new main cast members, Rapunzel's friend and lady-in-waiting, Cassandra

Richard King AKA our friend who loves to play (BING BONG BING BONG) with the rocket that makes you yell "hooray!" (BING BONG BING BONG) as the local candy shop owner, Monty

Also, it's been announced that Danielle Brooks and Jane Krakowski will be providing voices of upcoming characters!

Okay okay now have a bunch of GIFs

In summary, if you're looking for something really cute and fluffy to watch with a side dish of mystery, great music, and an amazing cast, check out Tangled: The Series!

... but you gotta watch Tangled Before Ever After, the TV movie, first for things to make sense. Before the movie and the TV series take place in between Tangled and Tangled Ever After, by the way.

(Jeremy Jordan is supposed to get his own Alan Menken-original song soon and I AM SO PUMPED)
