Welcome, friends and future friends! I am Emerald, and I would like to take a little time to introduce myself to you! I'll answer some questions that should help you to get to know me better, but feel free to ask any questions of your own! (I love answering questions!)

Emerald is a teenage girl who tends to scream over the things she loves and has a lot of opinions.

What are some of your favorite books? 

The Lunar Chronicles series by Marissa Meyer, the Doon series by Carey Corp and Lorie Langdon, Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, and The Wrath and the Dawn duology by Renée Ahdieh. 

Dog person or cat person? 

I'm definitely a cat person! 

Are you the mom friend or the baby of your friend groups? 

Hmm... It depends who I'm with. With my younger friends, I'm definitely the mom. (With my younger drama class friends, I am referred to as their "Drama Mama". A custom T-shirt is currently in the works for me.) With my older friends, sometimes I'm the baby, but for the most part, I'd say that I'm the sister friend. 

Are you an early bird or night owl? 

Since I rarely stay up late, I guess I'm an early bird... just not TOO early though. If it's not at least 6:15 AM, then I'm going to be a bit cranky. 

What is your most embarrassing moment? 

Oh, thank goodness I have to do just one! Let's see... One time in middle school, I was in the cafeteria with my entire grade. We all had our backpacks, which were very much overpacked. When the teachers dismissed us, I stood up from where I was sitting, and someone bumped into me. Behind me was a wall with a fire alarm, and I hit it with my backpack, causing the protective case to fall off and the alarm to go off. Everybody FREAKED. Luckily, a janitor saw what had happened, and quickly ran over to fix it. I WAS SO EMBARRASSED. I FELT SO BAD. I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO GET INTO SO MUCH TROUBLE. I LIVED IN FEAR FOR WEEKS. 

What's a word that you frequency misspell? 

Interesting. I sometimes try to shorten it to "inresting" on accident. (Whoops.)

Star Wars or Star Trek?

Star Wars! My parents raised me in the way of the Force! *makes lightsaber noises*

Are you a big crier?

YES I AM. It is so easy to make me cry. I start sobbing during movies, books, having deep conversations with people, etc. (One time I was in a movie theatre with my family, and there was this one scene that had me bawling my eyes out so badly that I literally started wheezing. My mom had to shove buttery napkins in my face to keep me quiet because people started staring.)

Disney or DreamWorks?

I love both, but I'm going to have to go with Disney on this one!

Do you have any distinguishable features on your body? (Freckles, scars, tattoos, etc.)

I have a natural beauty mark to the bottom left of my lip and a freckle perfectly centered on my left hand's middle finger.

What song do you have stuck in your head right now?

"Almost There" from Princess and the Frog. (It's one of my favorite movies!)

Have you ever been stranded somewhere before?

I'm not really sure if this counts as being stranded, but when I was on a trip to NYC with my school theatre class, our flight back home was cancelled. The airport people told us to stay there while they tried to figure out how to get us home. We were stuck there for over eight hours before they moved us to ANOTHER airport. (Our group had doubled up with an elementary school group, so I eventually took it upon myself to entertain the children with games after a while.) We now refer to that event as our "Home Alone 2 Moment".

Have you ever been in love before?

No. I've had crushes before, but I've never been in love. There's a difference between having a crush and being in love. (On a completely unrelated note, there's also a difference between being attracted to someone and being in love with someone.)

What is your favorite accessory?

It's a tie between two necklaces: a necklace with a single diamond on it that I got from a friend of mine on Valentine's Day, and a necklace with a small replica of Adelaide's scissors from Over the Garden Wall.

Who is your favorite classic actor/actress?

Julie Andrews! She's Mary Poppins, Maria, Cinderella, Millie, Eliza Doolittle, Queen Guinevere, AND Queen Clarisse, not to mention the actual Queen of pretty much everything, including my heart! *puts hand over chest in honor of Queen Julie*

What's the funniest thing you've heard so far today?

"What are words? I only know lines." -My friend after stumbling over what she was saying

If you could be an animal, what would you like to be and why?

I would like to be a panda. That way I could sit around and just eat and sleep all day long and everyone would think I'm adorable.

What's a unpopular opinion that you have?

Lion King 2 was actually pretty good and I really liked it. *runs away and hides*
