Tired of your nails chipping right in the mist of you leading a rebellion against your evil overlord who may or may not be Roe since she now has the power to be a magical dictator? It's always such a struggle to fix them when you're busy with making plans to storm the castle and the best way to kill your oppressor, but here are a few tips to help preserve your manicure so you can have more time for training those poor rebel newbies.

1) Keep your nails short

While having long, cat-like nails can be useful, especially for intimidation uses, long nails take the brunt of all of the work your hands do. Shorter nails last longer than long ones, plus they're less likely to chip after punching someone in the face.

2) Have two basecoat layers

When painting your nails at two AM in the morning before a long day of plotting a revolution, paint two basecoat layers: one on the top half on your nails and the other over the entire nail. Doing this will help keep the tips of your nails from chipping.

3) Use rubberized basecoat polish

While applying those two basecoat layers mentioned above, make sure you use a rubberized basecoat. It'll make your manicure last longer while you receive information from your spies on the inside and interrogate intruders.

4) Use quick-dry polish/spray

Or if you don't have access to some quick-dry polish/spray due you not being able to go into a store without being recognized by your overlord's soldiers and/or droids, grab some PAM oil spray from the kitchen instead!

5) File your nails

Want to look uninterested yet frightening while maintaining your nails? Grab a nail file and casually file those nails into a shape that matches your cuticles. Shaping them like that will make them less likely to break, plus you'll look bored and unimpressed by whatever lies those captured military soldiers are trying to convince you of.

With your manicure protected, you now have more time to form war strategies and train for the day you face off with that evil ruler for the ultimate showdown. You can bet that their nails won't look as nearly as fabulous as yours, so who has the true advantage there?
