It has come to my attention that there is a lack of knowledge surrounding the wonderful Conspiracy Falls AU created by asexualtadashihamada/everylastbird on Tumblr, which is a tragedy that I intend to fix! So here's a quick summary of the characters before we dive in deep.

Pacifica Pines is determined to clear her grandmother's name, and she'll use her diary and the school newspaper to do it.

Dipper Northwest intends to do his duty as a Northwest and keep the new girl in her place.

Gideon Corduroy will do whatever it takes to save his best friend from her family.

Mabel Northwest just wants some sleep and for that triangle thing to leave her and her nightmares alone.

Stanford Northwest has the power and he plans to keep it that way.

Stanley Pines is dead.

Wendy Corduroy is the undead.

Robbie Gleeful loves his country music, fame, and raising the dead.

Bill Cipher is purple, hates the Pines family, and is having fun playing inside of a certain someone's head.

Oakie dokie, let's get into the plot now.

Many years before Pacifica Pines and her family returned to Gravity Falls, a young Stanford Northwest discovered a sick demon and made a deal with him that would save the demon's life and would him unlimited knowledge and power in return when he got older. You see, Bill had been cut off from the mindscape, which he can't leave for long without perishing. Ford agreed that he could take resistance inside of the mind of his firstborn's firstborn.

Bill began giving Stanford instructions to build a portal that would give Stanford his infinite knowledge and power and would also leak out small bursts of energy from the mindscape's void that would help Bill survive until his promised puppet was born. Ford recruited his brother, Stanley, and Pippa Pines to assist him in building it. Little did he know that it was actually Pippa's family who had cut Bill off from the mindscape in the first place...

Stuff goes down.

In the end, Stanford Northwest calls the police and reports his brother to be dead and his murderer to be Pippa Pines. The police search for the woman, but she, like Stanley's body, have disappeared. The Pines family leave their Bed and Breakfast and Gravity Falls when the town begins shaming and slandering them.

Well, Ford ended up not having a firstborn, so Bill just moved into the mind of Shermie's firstborn's firstborn... Mabel. Ford took custody of Dipper and Mabel when they were about four years old, and from the moment the twins entered the mansion for the first time, Bill entered Mabel's mind and has been living there, sort of like a parasite.

The side effects of a deprived dream demon are numerous, but they start off small and grow uncontrollable over time. About a year or so before Pacifica arrived in town, Mabel had a very public breakdown, which could have been very scandalous for the Northwest family if Ford didn't have a seemingly magical talent for sweeping things under the rug. Mabel was banished to the confirms of the Northwest mansion "for her own health and safety", and everyone in town just seemed to forget that Stanford Pines had more than one child in his custody... everyone, that is, except for Mabel's best friend, Gideon Corduroy.

After the disappearance of his sister Wendy, who was the only one in his family who accepted his non-Corduroy like ways, Mabel was the only person left who cared about him. And now she's gone too? Not if Gideon can help it. If only he could find someone to help him...

Enter Pacifica Pines. Her parents decided to return to Gravity Falls and reopen the family Bed and Breakfast just in time for her to start high school. When she discovers Pippa Pines's old diary hidden in the attic, Pacifica becomes determined to clear her ancestor's name and expose the Northwest family for what they truly are.

When school starts, Pacifica befriends Candy and Grenda, and the three of them become the sole members of the school newspaper. Pacifica begins writing articles based on discoveries and information on the Northwest family, all which catches the eye of Dipper Northwest. Not only is he rich, but he's also the top of their class and loves to rub his intelligence in everyone else's face. While he may not believe in magic or know the truth of his great uncle's plan, he's convinced that Pacifica Pines is a pest who needs to be wiped off the stainless steel of the Northwest reputation.

Dipper's not the only one noticing Pacifica's outspokenness against the Northwest family. Gideon begins to see Pacifica as one of his last hopes of finding out what happened to Mabel, so he starts leaving her anonymous tips about the missing girl from the most prominent family in town. Pacifica jumps on these opportunities to uncover some Northwest secrets almost immediately.

Meanwhile, Robbie Gleeful, a member of a family involved in necromancy and other dark magics, is dealing with his very promising country music career... and his ex-girlfriend Wendy who he just raised from the dead and doesn't quite know what to do with. Whoops.

So yeah. That's what's up with Conspiracy Falls. As for the Cipher Wheel, here are the characters with their matching symbols.

There are some set storylines, which I will give a short summary of. If you want to know the full details of a storyline, just ask!

Eight-legged Eyesores- Students and teachers begin disappearing on a field trip until there's only Pacifica and Dipper left to find who- or what- has taken them.

Homecoming Horror Show- Werewolves and vampires bring their turf war to the dancefloor of the Homecoming Dance.

The Other Northwest- Pacifica finally discovers the location of the missing Northwest, and she is ready to her exclusive interview... even if she has to break into the highly guarded mansion of her worst enemy.

The Northwest Conspiracy: A Play in Three Parts- Pacifica organizes a play all about the true events of the murder of Stanley Northwest, and Bill gets to have a bloody good time possessing not one but two people while on orders from Stanford to stop the show.

Stay Out of the Basement- Dipper hasn't be acting like himself, and in search for the answer for his weirdness, Pacifica and Mabel find themselves in a basement filled with the stuff of nightmares.

Gideon Descends- When hopeless Gideon begins to believe that Pacifica has befriended Dipper (which is semi-true) and has abandoned searching for Mabel (which is not true), a certain country singer teaches him about summoning demons and the powers they can grant you if you just make a deal...

Roadside Attraction- While on a roadtrip with the Pines family and Pacifica's friends, both Pines twins have to (re)learn something new: how to socialize and function in public and how to deal with a stinking fat crush.

Magic is also very important in Conspiracy Falls. Pacifica collects magical objects, Dipper has an undiscovered talent in spell-casting, and Mabel becomes a master of the mind.

Ford's parenting skills... are not the healthiest.

Dipper may seem like he doesn't care about anyone or anything, but there's no doubt that he loves his sister and would do anything to protect her.
