1) How Many Pokéfics have you written and/or are currently writing?

The real question is, how many have I written and finished? I've started so many fics, but I've only finished three. The first book I ever finished was The Death Curse, a fic about two cursed Eevees that have to take on an evil organization of Pokémon led by their parents. The second was The Sacred Charms, a fix about a girl that's sucked into Johto from the real world by Lost Silver, who was cursed by Darkrai. They go on to find the three sacred charms necessary to revert Lost Silver back to a human. The third one is called Mental Battles, a story about a girl who's father hides her away for all of her life, forcing her when she's 16 to kill every gym leader to help her father rise to power.

Please note that these were all written in 2014 and 2015 and they were all absolutely awful.

For books I'm currently working on, there's obviously The Champion is a Faller. Some of my unpublished works in progress are Berlitz, Tomorrow's Dreams, and Lost and Always Forgotten (title subject to change).

2. Which of your Pokéfics is your favorite?

The Champion is a Faller is my baby right now. I'm pouring my heart and soul I to it and constantly revising it, and I hope that shows in its quality. He'll, after I finish it I'm going to ask people to critique it so I can revise it or even totally rewrite it if necessary. I want it to be as good as can be.

3. Do you prefer using OCs or canon characters in your writing?

I like both! I love the creative freedom of using your own characters, and I love bring able to share my interpretation of other characters. I especially love using characters that don't get a lot of attention (Looker and Anabel ahah). If I had to just use one forever, though, I would pick OCs.

4. What are some of your favorite Pokéfics and why?

I have lot of favorites! I really loved The Girl with the Chikorita by d_s_t_e because of how polished the writing is, Monopoly by Sheare because it really deviated from the usual adventure with a well-written corporate drama, and I'll Fight For You by _Kajine_Saika_ because it as one of the first fics I read here and it brings back so many nice memories.

5. Do you like journey stories or stories that deviate from the Pokémon formula?

I like both, as long as they're well-written. Both types of stories have the potential to be unoriginal or cliché, but they both also have potential to be great, intriguing books.

6. What are some of you favorite Pokéfic clichés?

I've never really thought about my favorite, to be honest. I really like anything that's executed well, so any cliché could be likeable or generic to me.

7. What are your most hated Pokéfic clichés?

Most of my hated clichés could be summed up as "anything that happens without reason".

This one is rather common for people to hate, but I hate when a character befriends every legendary for no real reason. Legebdaries aren't off bounds, of course, and you shouldn't be scared of using them, just make sure there's a justifiable reason for using them.

Another one is an all-powerful character. Not only are they a Mary Sue, having no apparent flaws, but they also win every fight they're in even if they're just starting out on their journey. If your character is the Champion, it would be understandable to have them win most or all of the time, but they would still struggle at least a little against strong opponents.

I also hate when people write a book that just puts a video game to words. I don't mean writing a gym challenge story, I mean literally taking the events of a game like Pokémon Gold and writing down exactly what happens. I want to read something from your own imagination. Thankfully, I haven't seen this one recently, but it was a constant insurance back in 2014 for me. In fact, I even tried to write one of those (shame on me!) back then; the Pokémon Gold example was based off of me.

8. What is a genre of Pokéfic you'd like to see written?

Anything that has no romantic aspects to it!

9. Do you prioritize character exchanges or battle scenes more?

Dialogue! I'd rather have better dialogue, as that's something I will use in almost every story I write. Not all my books will feature Pokémon battles.

10. What is your overall opinion of the Wattpad Pokémon community?

I think it's one of the best! As someone who's been a part of many communties, I can say that this is by far the most supportive community I've seen. There's very little drama, and everyone's always rooting for each other. I'm very happy to be a part of it!

I won't tag anyone, because most of the people I'm following have been tagged already.
