Day 24!

Subhan Allah! Let's not miss it!

Okay, so let's begin!

Dhikr of the Day

اللهم ارزقني همة نصر و نشر دينك

Allahuma-r ruzqny himmata nasri wa nashri Deenik.

Oh Allah, grant me determination and courage to help, defend, and spread your religion.

Note: The above is a personally formulated du'a.

Have a look into Islamic history; and we will find great and courageous men and women. Subhan Allah how did they attain this courage?!

In their hearts was the light of imaan glowing and continued getting brighter.

Look at how they conquered so many cities. It was by the help of Allah, Who made their hearts strong and courageous. One Muslim could take down almost 1000 men! Learn about Islamic history; and believe me, you will be amazed!

Action of the Day

Today we will be spreading the word of peace (salaam).

Let's have a look at the following hadeeth:

A man asked the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him): “What is the best thing in Islam?” He said, “Feeding others and giving the greeting of salaam to those whom you know and those whom you do not know.”

Ibn Hajar said in al-Fath (1/56):

“i.e., do not single out anybody out of arrogance or to impress them, but do it to honour the symbols of Islam and to foster Islamic brotherhood.”

So guys, let's revive this sunnah in this holy month: Greeting whom you know and whom you don't know.

It's just a matter of saying few words of salam; no standing, no other talking or need for conversation. Just as you pass by a fellow Muslim, give salaam. Don't forget: Give daily morning salaam to your family, too!

Remembering Allah calms down the body and settles the heart.

Teach your children or siblings to give salam to you and to each other every morning and whenever they enter the house after returning from school or elsewhere; and not only kids—parents and spouses, too!

If you don't teach them, who will? Don't expect them to learn it elsewhere. If such a practice is not done in your family, please take the step to revive the sunnah!

The one who guides achieves the same reward as the guided. Subhan Allah, look at how beautiful Islam is!

Revive some islamic etiquette! It doesn't even take a second to complete the salam. Remember: Don't impose it on them forcefully; but advise them lovingly, using good words and wisdom.
