It was Raksha Bandhan day.. This day meant a lot for Naina. But it also increased her pain of not being able to tie rakhi to her Naveen bhaiya. She becomes emotional at this thought when she felt a hand on her shoulder.

"Kya hua bacche? Udaas kyun hai tu?" She asked.

"Kuch nahi,bhai. Bhaiya ki bohut yaad arahi hai.. Main har saal iss tyohaar ka intezaar karti thi ki kab main Naveen bhaiya ko aur aapko rakhi bandhungi.. Aap agar mere dil ho toh Bhaiya mere dil ki dhadkan.. Bhaiya ko kho chuki hu,aapko khone ki himmat nahi hai mujh mein.." Naina started crying as Vihaan took her in a hug,stroking her head gently.

Badi Maa,Bade Papa and Anika admired their bond. They all became emotional seeing them.

"Officers'!!" Brigadier Shergill called in his usual tone.

"Kya aap bhi na,Zorawar!! Hadd hai!!!" Badi Maa scolded him.

"Papaji... Yeh aapka army base nahi hai!!! Maa ne kaha thha na aapko,yaad hai?" Anika said,with a playful smile on her face.

"Puttarji,ek tu aur teri Maa hai jiske saamne meri mooh band hi reh jaati hai!!! Chal!!! Fer koi naya syappa na khara hoye,chhetti chhetti rasam shuru kar." Brigadier replied,playfully.

"Vihaan,Naina.. Idhaar baitho!!" Badi Maa ordered.

Anika handed over the Puja thhaal to Naina. Vihaan sat infront of her with a smile,as she did the Puja,fed him some sweets and tied the rakhi. After tying the rakhi,she took his blessings and Vihaan blessed her wholeheartedly.

"Chalo bhai!! Mera gift do mujhe!!" Naina asked for her gift.

"Kya musibat aa parahi hai!!! Har baar tu aisa karti hai!!!" Vihaan scowled,playfully.

"Eh lehh!!! Saal mein ek hi baar mujhe mauka milta hai aapka pocket khaali karne ka!! Aur main yeh mauka haat se kaise jaane dungi??" Naina replied with a smirk.

"Vihu,that's bad!!! Meri nanad ke saath aap humesha se aise karte rehto ho!!! Chalo jaldi,pocket khali karo!!" Anika piped in,supporting Naina.

"Chal!! Tu bhi kya yaad rakhegi!! Eh leh!!" Vihaan replied as he handed over a photo frame of Naveen,Naina and Vihaan. Their nicknames' were also imprinted on them.

"Navu,Nainu aur Vihu.." Naina replied as she grazed her hand over the photo.

"Accha laga tujhe?" Vihaan asked.

"You know,bhai.. this is the bestest gift i have ever got. Sirf aap aur bhaiya jaante hai ki mujhe kaise gifts pasand hai. Thanks bhai." Naina replied with tears in her eyes.

"Hmm!!! Tu toh meri aur Navu bhai ki bacchi hai!!! Humesha khush rehna tu!!" Vihaan blessed her.

Her face bore a sad expression. She quickly wiped up her tears and went to get ready for the army base.

Ambala Army Base:

Pooja did tilak of Alekh and completed the rasam after tying the rakhi. In return,Alekh blessed her for happiness and gave her a new pair of jhumkas'. Pooja liked it a lot and returned Alekh's hug.

She silently went towards Rajveer  and knelt down infront of him.

"Haath aage kijiye apna!" She said.

His reverie was broken by Pooja's loud voice.

"Sorry!!! Woh main!!" Rajveer replied,hurriedly.

"Humesha silent mode pe rahoge toh handset ko hang hojana hai!!! Haath aage laaiye aap!!! Maine aapko raakhi bandni hai!!" Pooja replied with a sheepish smile.

Rajveer tied a handkerchief over his head and Pooja did the aarti and applied a dot of red kumkum on his forehead. She fed him a small amount of sweet and tied the raakhi on his wrist. He looked at the Raakhi with tear stricken eyes.

"Rajveer sir!!! Rona band kariye warna signal weak hojayega.. (wipes her eyes) mera gift dijiye?" Pooja asked for her Raakhi gift.

"Gift???!!! I am really sorry,Pooja!! Main gift nahi la paaya tumhare liye.." Rajveer apologised.

Taking his hands in hers,she said, "Mujhe koi gift nahi chahiye,Sir. Mujhe aur baki sabko sirf aapki khushi chahiye... Isse bari gift aur kya hogi humare liye??? Aur,agar aapka mann kare gift dene keliye,toh yaad dila dena,soodh samet lungi apni gift!!! Deal???" Pooja asked.

"Deal." Rajveer replied with a smile and hugged his newly found sister - Pooja.

This scene was witnessed by Vihaan and Naina. Vihaan was feeling great to see them happy in their own bubble. He cleared his voice and all of them got back to their places. Rajveer had a smile seeing Naina over there,whereas she ignored him blatantly and sat own her chair

"Guys!!! Humein ek bohut bari baat pata chali hai iss mission ke baare mein. Banda LOC ke aas paas dikha gaya hai... Sources se maloom parha hai... Humare paas shoot at sight orders hai usse mar girane keliye." Vihaan said.

"Toh chalte hai na Sir!!! Thok dete hai saalo ko!!!" Huda replied.

"Ae shaane!!! Yeh jo sir log bol rele hai,usse pehle samajh tu!!!" Alekh said,hitting Huda's shoulder.

"Huda bhai!!! Kabhi toh thande dimagh sochiye!!! Baat ko na samajhke chal diye thokne keliye!! Huh!!" Ali replied.

"Language!!!" Naina spoke finally,with an irritated face.

"Chill Naina!!!" Rajveer said,involuntarily. Which he later realised.

"Woh.. I am.. sorr..." He was about to apologise,when Naina said,

"Its Captain Naina Singh Ahluwalia for you!!! Professional aur personal matters ko ek saath mat jorhiye.. Samjhe ya samjhaun?" Naina replied.

Everyone was shocked to see her in such an avatar. They never expected to see this side of her.

"Oh teri!!! Yeh Phoolan.. (he bites his tongue)mera matlab hai,Naina ki tadi dekh!!!" Huda said in an awe.

"Oye 4G ke zamaane ke nokia 1200 mobile!!!! Yeh Naina ki tadi zaroor thi par usme uski gussa chupa thha!!! Matlab bhi samajhta hai tu?" Pooja reprimanded Huda.

"Punjaban!!! Usse samjhana aur khudka bheja fry karwana same to same hi hai!!! Khali khopri kahin ka!!" Alekh piped in.

"Oye qaidi!! Chup kar tu,thik hai?? Aur tujhe itni lagti kyun hai re?" Huda went near Alekh and clutched his collar.

"Ae shaaney!!! Haath niche rakh tu!!" Alekh warned him.

This came into notice of Vihaan,Rajveer and Naina. Yudi,Ali and Pooja tried to stop them.

"What the hell??? Yeh kya tamasha laga rakkha hai yahaan pe??? Machli ka bazaar samajhke rakkha hai kya?" Naina shouted at them,as their fight interrupted their discussion.

"Sorry Sir!!! Hum toh bas!!" Huda and Alekh tried to say.

"Hum toh bas kya??? Yahaan itna bara aur important discussion chal raha hai aur aap dono hai ki!!" Rajveer scowled at them.

"Really Sir???? Aapne sach mein in dono ko team mein rakkha hai?? (turning to Alekh and Huda) yeh koi football ground nahi hai ke goal kisi aur ne dediya,toh aise laroge!!" Naina said...p

"Captain Alekh Sharma and Captain Amardeep Huda... Listen to me really carefully.. Agli baar agar aap dono ne kuch aisi harqat ki,toh main aap dono ko suspend karwa dunga!!! Got that!!!" Vihaan asked.

"Yes Sir!!"

All of them get back to discussions which went till late night.. It was a quite difficult mission and had to be completed at any cost.

Some minutes later,Rajveer's mobile buzzes with an incoming call. He excuses himself and went outside to talk. After a few minutes,he comes back seeing Vihaan in a call. He could predict that he also got to something. His face had amazed and shocked expression etched!!

Everyone was having their break time. Huda and Pooja were taking rest,Alekh was assisting Rajveer with some facts,Ali and Yudi were trying to decode some codes. Naina was looking outside the window,nothing at particular. Rajveer saw her from behind.

She became frail and weak,he observed. She is not the Naina he knew. The changes in her were inevitable because this happened all due to him. He gave her a pain worth to last for lifetimes to come.

Vihaan was on the phone,talking with his wife,Anika.

"Aap ghar kabtak arahe hai?"

"Der hojayega!! Tumne khana khaya?? Dawai li??" Vihaan asked with concern.

She laughed a little and replied, "Kabhi aisa hua hai ki main aapke baghair kha lu?"

He could feel her smile. This is what he liked about her. Her love,genuineness,concern.

"Lt. Col sahab!!! Maine aur aapke chotu baby ne kha liya!!! Aapko bohut miss kar raha hai yeh,isiliye dekho,aaj janab ne bohut laat mari hai!!" Anika replied happily while carressing her 5 month old tummy.

"Anika.. Please mujhe maaf kardena.. Iss mission ke wajah se main tumhe kaafi time nahi de paraha hu.." Vihaan was apologetic.

"Vihaan!!! Meri jaan!!" She said.

Vihaan closed his eyes and inhaled to feel those words. It calmed him down.

"Aisa galti se bhi mat sochiyega!! Main aapko samajhti hu,meri jaan!!! Aur,ghar jaldi aaiye aap... Soodh samet udhar nipta lungi aapse!!" She replied with a blush.

He knew what she meant and he smiled.

"Sure.. Take care.. Aur,tum so jao abhi!! I love you!! Bye!!" Vihaan replied and cut the call.

Naina was sitting outside,in the veranda porch of the army base,sipping her coffee. The atmosphere was lovely,as it was raining. It reminded her of Darjeeling.

She felt somebody's presence near her. She turned around to see Rajveer. He gave her a small smile.

"Baithiye please,Sir." Naina invited him to sit.

There was silence prevailing between them. Rajveer observed her from top to bottom. She looked way more pretty than before. He could feel her hands clasped tightly.

He started to converse.

R: "Kaisi ho tum?"

N: "Acchi hu.. (taking some moments) aur aap?"

R: "Yeah!! All okay!!" (feeling her ignorance)

He wanted to say something but could not gather the courage. After all,he was the one who gave her pain,mistrust and what not.

"Woh!! Mujhe kuch kehna thha tumse!!"

"Wow!!! Aapke paas shabd hai bhi kehne keliye!!! I am amazed!!! Naina replied with sarcasm and got up from chair.

"Meri baat suno,Naina,please!!" Rajveer pleaded.

"Yeh koi ghar nahi hai ki jab mann kia personal matters ko lekar baith gaye suljhane keliye. Mujhe koi interest nahi aapko baatein sunne ki!" Naina replied and started to walk away.

"Tumhe sunna parega Naina!!! Kyunki maine humare divorce papers file nahi kiye thhe.. Maine papers ko court me jama nahi karaya humare sign karne ke baad!!" Rajveer shouted and blurted out the truth.

Naina stopped in her tracks. She couldn't believe what she heard. She turned back and said again loudly, "toh woh kaunse papers thhe jismein aapki aur meri signatures thhi? Say something,dammit!!"

"Woh Naveen ke paas kuch aise intelligence secrets thhe which is somehow related to our case. Usse shaq thha ki humare andar ka hi koi gaddar hai jo information leak kar raha thha!!! Tumhari jaan bhi khatre mein thi,isiliye mujhe woh divorce papers banane parhe.. Aur ussi beech woh sab hogaya jo nahi hona chahiye thha!!! Aur main aaj tak un sab incidents keliye bohut guilty feel karta hu... Khudko kosta rehta hu!! Hume divorce agreement sign zarur kiye thhe par meri himmat hi nahi huyi usse court mein jama karane ki,kyunki main tumse pyaar karne laga thha,be intehaan pyaar... I am really sorry,Naina!!" Rajveer finally broke down.

Naina couldn't believe what she heard. Her head started to spin around and fell on the floor with a thud,not being able to digest the ultimate truth.

"Nainaaaaaaaaaa!!!!" Rajveer screamed seeing her unconscious.
