5 years later:
"Ho kya raha hai iss base mein?? Ek culprit ko pakar nahi paye aap log??" Someone shouted.
"Humne koshish ki thi,Sirji!!! Kaise humein chakma deke bhaag nikla sala!!" Huda replied.
"Language,Capt. Huda!!" The senior officer reminded.
"Sorry Sir!" Huda apologised.
"Aap logo ko pata bhi hai ki mujhe higher command ko jawaab dena parega?? Kya kahunga ki maine kaisi team banayi hai jo ki ek criminal ko pakar nahi paayi?" He threw the file,scowling at them.
"Hum log phirse koshish karte hai,Sir!!! Iss baar nahi chutega woh kamina humare haatho se!!" Rajveer replied with confidence.
"Yeah right!!! Issi over confidence ki wajah se humein bohut mehenga keemat chukani parsakti hai!!! Brigadier ko humare kaam karne ke tareeke pe shaq hogaya hai!!! He is thinking of transferring this case!! DO YOU EVEN UNDERSTAND!!' Vihaan shouted.
Lt. Col Vihaan Shergill:
An officer came and handed over a confedential letter to Vihaan. As he was about to open the letter,Brigadier called him and warned him to buckle up or else,the case will be transferred.
"Damn it!!" Vihaan hissed in anger.
All knew about Vihaan's anger when it comes to work. He is quite serious in it.
Alekh brought a glass of water and kept it near him,asking him to drink it.
"Gussa kam hoga.. Pee lijiye!! Aise gussa hone se kuch nahi hoyega!!"
He smiled a bit,knowing about Alekh's nature.
Vihaan took a moment and replied to everyone,
"Brigadier sahab ne ek officer ko appoint kiya hai,jo humare saath kaam karengi!!! Bohut hi excellent track record hai!!! Apni batch ki sabse best encounter specialist hai!!
"I am sorry,Sir!! Humare hote huye ek aur officer ki kya zarurat hai?? Hum koshish kar rahe hai!!" Rajveer replied.
"Brigadier ke orders hai!! Main kuch nahi kar sakta!!!" Vihaan replied.
"Waise Sir,ek baat puchu?? Bura toh nahi manoge aap?" Huda asked,hopingly.
"Huda bhaaai!! Kabhi baaz nahi aayenge aap apni harkato se?" Ali said,sarcastically.
"Ae shaaney!!! Zyada shaanpatti mat kar!!" Alekh scowled at him!!
Vihaan laughed,seeing them fighting.
"Oye sim card!!! 4G ke zamaane mein 6G ki baare mein mat sochiyo!!! Handset hang hojayega!!'' Pooja replied.
Vihaan went near Huda,kept his hand on his shoulder and warned with a sly smile, "Mard ho ya janani!! Ki farak pehnda hai!!! Harqatein badliye khudki!!"
Rajveer had a small smile seeing them. They were still fighting like kids,like they used to do in KMA.
KMA brought in so many memories. Especially his Naina. After the day they were divorced during the passing out parade,not a day went that he repented for his actions. He even misunderstood Vihaan to be her lover,but when he found out that Vihaan is Naina's cousin brother,he was guilty to the point of no return.
Even the gang felt really guilty of not believing Naina. Though they didnt show it in their work,but he knew them in and out.. After all,they were his cadets.
They only had a wish in their life,that they want to meet Naina and ask forgiveness from her. The gang really wanted Rakveer and Naina to patch up.. They saw how Rajveer repented for his actions,how sad he was due to the divorce.
Somewhere in Darjeeling:
A girl,in her 30s,is shown driving her Harley Davidson bike through the luscious and hilly valleys of Darjeeling. Her hair was kept open and small smile played on her lips,as she saw little kids playing football,tribal woman going to tea gardens for work,etc etc. She enjoyed this simple life.
She could feel raindrops falling on her face. Soon enough,it started to rain. For her,driving in the rain had an another level of excitement it. The inner child always comes out..
The smell of the wet mud,the raindrops falling on the leaves,washing off the sweltering heat and giving birth to a new hope always mesmerizes her.
She walked towards her little cottage after parking her bike. She was welcomed by her neighbour aunty,whom she loved like her mother.
"Naina beta.. Idhar aao.. Maine tere waaste yeh momos banaye hai.. Itna bhi koi bheegta hai baarish mein?? Thand lag gayi toh?"
Yes... It was Naina... She was on two month's leave,as an officer on special duty to observe some groundwork research regarding high technology arms, after fighting with the terrorists in Ladakh territory over the Siachen Glacier.
Naina went to her and took the momos,after hugging her tightly. The old lady got to know her so well in these two months. She also knew what happened to Naina,5 years back.
Soon,Naina went inside her home,changed into warm clothes,and sat down with hot cappuchino and momos. She enjoyed it to her heart's content.
She noticed an envelope on her bedside table. It was from the Army Headquarters,Delhi.. And she knew,it was time for her new transfer.
She sighed slowly and read the letter which stated that she has been transferred to Ambala base,where it all started.
