Chapter 6

Healertail droned painfully on about the history of catmint. "Catmint was originally planted by strange creatures called 'twolegs'," he paused, shoving a small green leaf forward, it's minty smell rolling in waves off the tiny thing. "and it was probably the most useful and smartest things they have ever done." Healertail continued. "Catmint is the main cure to green-cough, and if needed, sever white-cough." He glanced around, as if checking if there were adult cats around. "They also taste very, very, very, very, very-"
Raisinpaw cut him off. "We get the point! Get on with it! I could be learning something useful, like how to kill my enemies, but I'm stuck in this den, learning about herbs!"
Healertail winced before continuing. "Very, very delicious. Would you like to try some?"
Raisinpaw glanced at Grapepaw who was sitting beside her, nodding her head violently. Grapepaw leaned over. "They actually do taste very, very, very, very-" Raisinpaw gave her sister a glare. Grapepaw gulped. "Very good. You should try it!"
"Fine. I'll have a taste."
Healertail hastily placed a few leaves of catmint under her nose. As the smell drifted upwards, towards her nose, her mouth watered and she sniffled. I need this . . . She reached forward timidly before snatching the leaves in her teeth. Chewing on them until juices flooded her mouth, she purred. After all the juice had been torn from the green leaf, she swallowed the remaining bits. "Delicious." She assured as she turned to Grapepaw and Healertail who were watching anxiously with nervous eyes. Neither medicine cat or warrior apprentice said anything. Then, Raisinpaw felt a massive burst of energy, lifting her to her paws.
"Uh, guys what's happening?" Raisinpaw asked as her paws started to uncontrollably move. "What's happening to me?"
Healertail looked at her uncertainty. "This is what happens when you take catmint. My scientific research says that catmint is a good energy burst as well as a cure to those coughs I don't wanna mention. Catmint has a high sugar level that makes your paws move at uncontrollable rates, and makes your lungs screech with more high pitch and vigour than before."
As the medicine cat said this, Raisinpaw started to yowl. "LA! LA! LA LA, LA LA. LA! LA! LAAAAAAA! I AM A RAISIN! Hehahehahahahahaheha!" And she burst out in a terrible cackling laugh.
The last thing she remembered was Healertail glancing worriedly at Grapepaw, before grabbing a large and heavy stick. Healertail walked forward warily and smacked her on the head.
Obviously the all-powerful, invincible Raisinpaw fainted.
