Chapter 1
Raisinkit plucked a shrivelled mouse tail from her pelt. I cannot afford to have a dirty pelt today, or any day of my life. It was weird though, all the gross mouse tails and stuff like that got stuck in her pelt. Not her sister's. Just her. While Raisinkit was stuck cleaning her pelt, Grapekit sat gloriously by the den entrance, tilting her white head in different angles to capture the sun's light.
"Aren't I beautiful?" Grapekit meowed, a proud dignity in her voice.
Raisinkit, being spiteful of her sister, like always said; "No. You look like a broken piece of bone."
Grapekit just rolled her eyes before running over to Mootail, their mother. "Mommy, Raisinkit's being a meanie."
"Oh no. That's terrible sweetie. Tell her to come see me."
Tattletale.
As Grapekit plodded over and opened her mouth, Rasinkit hissed. "I already know. Don't tell me you mouse-butt."
Grapekit did not seem surprised by this at all. The white she-cat just watched as Raisinkit padded to Mootail. The cow patched queen mooed- I mean meowed, and started to talk. "I heard you called your sister a bone."
"A broken piece of bone." Raisinkit corrected.
"Meh, whatever I don't care. Go back to your game."
Raisinkit and Grapekit who had forgotten their recent quarrel ran to the fresh-kill pile, grappling over each other to get the first mouse. "I call first pick in vole!" Grapekit squeaked.
"I don't like vole anyway." Raisinkit replied. "I was thinking of going for some cotton candy or something like that."
