Niki's point of view

The gravel scuffed beneath my boots as I ran on the rooftops in pursuit of a blood sucker. He ran to the edge but stopped as he noticed the high drop. He turned back to me with a half smile.

"Hmm I guess plan B with have to suffice" the vampire said in a British accent.

As he turned towards me I noticed just how big of a blood sucker he was, he towered over me by at least two heads . I ran, charging at him, stake ready to strike, hoping to catch him Offguard but he simply blocked my attack and nocked the stake out of my hands.
He swung at me so fast I barley had time to step aside, I used this time to throw a punch of my own which he didn't even care to block. My fist slammed hard against his stone hard face but it didn't seem to faze him, I think it just hurt my hand more..

He was built like a tank and He's arms looked like hammers. The smile widened on his masculine toned face as he charged at me again.

Shit! You really know how to pick em Nicki..

We fought for what felt like hours but was most Likely moments,

By this time I was just deflecting his attacks and couldn't throw any of my own anymore. He backed me up to the edge of the banks roof and all I could do was keep trying to block his attacks but wasn't sure how much longer I could keep it up. I heard footsteps in the distance and called out, it was no doubt my fellow hunters looking for me.

He grabbed me by the shirt and used the other hand to punch me in the face. All I could feel was The throbbing pain on the right side of my face as I fell to the ground. I tried to stand up but he began to kick me In the stomach violently. I gasped for air but all I was managing to do was cough blood. I tried to reach out for my steak but it was to far away.

He looked down at me after a few more excruciating kicks.

"Such a waste" was all he said before he lifted me up and tossed me from the roof top.

I screamed! In Terror as I saw the ground approaching at rapid speed. This was it. Everything went black

Ash's POV

I ducked and hid out of view from the another vampires as I made my way to the experimental blood section of the blood bank, once there,vthere was no need to hide anymore because none of the other vampires would be interested in stealing pure red blood cells.

This is my life. The life of a vampire whose former human self suffered from anaphylaxis.

As I began stuffing the blood bags into my duffel bag I heard sirens near by.

That would have to do for now

I jumped over the lab desk and made a dash for the door, I peaked my head out to see vampires hurrying to get away, but not from cops, from hunters. They all seemed pretty occupied so with a little luck and my excellent stealth skills I was out of the blood bank with ease..

I walked the outside walls of the blood bank and stuck in the shadows to avoid cops or those pesky little hunters.

I glanced in my duffle bag and Sighed in disappointment. This was only enough to last a day or two, I'd needed to get more soon but from a different bank. I could Dodge the cops, but now that the hunters found the place I wouldn't want to risk it.

I often wondered how my life would've turned out if I didn't have this stupid disease since birth, I probably still would've been turned into a vampire but at least then I'd get to enjoy being one. This is a sick joke. A blood sucker allergic to the one thing he needs to stay alive? So instead of biting straight from the vein like the other lucky vampires, I have to find blood that doesn't have plasma in it, which all blood does. More then 50% of a humans blood is plasma, that's why I have to find blood that's plasma free, and the only way to do that is to go to the blood banks and find the experimental blood which is the blood they take the plasma out of.

"Wouldn't it be so much easier if what you needed just simply fell from the sky's when you needed it?" I said to myself as I thrusted my hands out in front of me. I Shook my head in wishful thinking,

Just then I heard a faint cry from above. before I had a chance to look up for the source of the noise, out of the blue something heavy landed into my extended arms with a quiet thud.

I looked down in disbelief and saw a human girl with blonde, blood covered hair. She looked like she went through hell and back with all those bruises on her face.

For the first time in forever I looked up to the heavens with a smile

"Ask and you shall receive." and with that I began walking back to my layer with this newfound Unconscious source of food in my arms.
